I've finished the base of my custom chest. One is placed just right of your starting point, which will give you the hammer weapon. You can basically add weapons through chests with it, and I will also add support to change clientr.flags, too.

i'd be willing to pitch you some ideas if i had more of an idea on what you were looking for. you say this is a classic server for oldbies, having a leveling style that of 01. but i don't know anything else that you'd want. if you're looking for simply things to do in a classic setting, then i can post some concepts simply around that; if you have any parameters about the server let me know and i'll integrate them in with the concept

I really miss that kind of gameplay, as most Playerworlds have developed into an RP direction or really developed their own style.

I am collecting names, the best one will get a '99 style playerhouse designed by me on the Playerworld. You can get another one by providing idea, if it's a rough outline for a quest (id prefer PM then to not ruin the fun for others), a concept or just an idea.

Further: Can you script or build levels in a similar style? Contact me - maybe you can join the project and help to bring it forward.

Yeah looks good, I'd imagine you could get rid of the fence that borders the most of the straight roof edge on the gold building too, and place a few flowers there instead.

I think that the lava and icehouse/tree tiles hurt the eye, the colors are quite extreme. It's no wonder that these areas are rarely populated on graal playerworlds, but i'd like them lively. Why no populated volcano town?

Winter landscapes is too bright, volcano landscapes is too dark.

In my opinion, the volcano tiles is made to be indoors, like in an actual volcano. :P

winter tiles conflict with players text

volcano i don't think has ever been implemented correctly for anyone to want to spend time in a place that uses such tiles

the black dragon spar was alright though, it used some volcano tiles. it was also all inside, though

So here's a question I just thought of,

I saw that there are ways to 'win' playerhouses. Is this the only way that they will be able to be obtained? And if so, will said playerhouses be made by server staff?

Because what made Classic Graal cool for me was that players made their own stuff. There weren't super high standards for playerhouses. Basically, if you made something that resembled a level, it got up. Sure some of the stuff looked really bad, but it was always fun to explore these levels and laugh.

I'm just wondering if you do have some sort of general idea on how you're approaching player housing?

They had pretty high standards... but it depended on who you had reviewing your house and connections and such. However, Classic's itself standards weren't entirely high. I remember my house was rejected just because I used the wrong tile for black.

However, I agree to an extent. What made Classic really fun was always having the feeling you could stake your part in the world... but I don't agree with low standards just to give everyone a chance. There's no excuse for tile errors and such and some people's houses can look HORRIBLE. Letting people upload houses like that only condones a download slide in levelling standards, and it's not that hard to make a tile error-free house, as most of the stuff is predefined anyways.

Yeah, of course people can design their playerhouses, but they have to fit style and theme, yet I am willing to help people without lat skills to get it done.
From time to time, I will open new citys. If it happens, you can sign up for one.

The Houses in the Main- Town will be given to long time followers of the project, people to suggest good ideas or names for the playerworld and few wildcards.
