Epoch Information and Hiring

Server Information

Epoch is a server based on pretty much all the eras of Evolution and Innovation. From the baterial species from when it all started to the end of days where heaven and hell duke it out (This is part of my story, please do not post your beliefs).

You will have your 5 different era groups.

Each of these eras will have 2 factions (good and evil).

Each other these era groups will have a limited number of main classes.

Each of these main classes will have a subclass.

You can select a secondary main class after you selected your subclass at a certain level.

You cannot have more than one subclass

Each main class will have a certain skill tree which only can be leveled up through using that skill on monsters and pvp marked npc.

This is not a pve server. This is a pvp server. Yes, a pvp server.

There will be certain quest that will get your main class or subclass gear.

There will even be quest where you can get your subclasses gear with additions for your secondary main class.

You will began in your home town. You will move to your home city. You will fight for this city to train and gain training points and you will attack other cities to train and gain training points.

You can put these points into skills of your desire.

Certain classes can only go so high in skills, for example, if you customize your mage to be good at melee (secondary warrior main class) then he can only be so good at swords. Lets say his sword skill before he picked his secondary class was 35...when he picked the warrior secondary class it goes to 70 but if he had picked rogue..it would have only raised daggers skill and swords would still be 35 and he can go no higher then that.

Leveling system is gone. The experience system is gone.

People say, without a leveling system people will have nothing to look forward to. In some ways this is true but, this server is truely for players who want to show there skill in fighting other players..so i dont really assume you to stay on all day like you would zodiac leveling because we are not on the same concept.

Health

There will no longer be a health bar. Your gear is like your way of *cheating death* because once your hit it will take the damage and eventually crack or fall off as it would if it was real. (if your wearing platemail, of course).

If you have leather or mail. You will have to use our new fighting technique system which i am not releasing on forums.

Hiring

We are currently hiring:

GATs
NATs
SFXs
Gani'rs

We will hire level designers when we get tileset up. Please pst via forum or come to dev julmune and maybe catch me there sometime. Thank you and i hope to hear from someone soon.

It sounds the same as Zodiac only with one less nation and restricted leveling

Dude -- so complicated.

Keep it simple...a simple idea that takes skill would be much better then having different fighting systems...five different era groups...2 factions...who the hell will have the long-time dedication for this crap?

Sounds cool if it was a game I paid $60 for on my 360, but i think this game would be much more of a charm if it was enjoyable, simple games rather then these ridiculously fleshed out ideas.
