My problem with Morano is it's unstable leaders. Dealing with Morano Leaders is like dealing with an atom going through the nuclear fusion process, they're in and out faster than anything.
Vulcan has proven to make mistakes in the Gang, BUT he is on of the only Moranos remaining, if he can fix it, then he can go far with Morano.
Spikekid in my opinion deserves a chance since he's been with Morano as the Consigliere and Godfather for years, yet he's not looked upon even thought his recent activity has shown that he can handle it.

IMO, vote Spikekid as new Don of Morano IF Morano comes back.

With the whole new "gang" application thing. If we where to bring in a new gang, all gangs should be renamed etc.

Era needs new things, if we keep coming back to old things, era isn't going to go anywhere.

It doesn't matter what the gang is or what it's name is really. No matter what it comes to it's leaders and members. Graals player count has dropped so much that Era doesn't have enough room for 4 gangs if you ask me. And even if you did replace BK one gang will always get **** kicked around the other 3 until it eventually fails. Just leave it with 3...if you really have to give Era a 4th gang then give it a new one...and think carefully about the leader it is given...

No one has realized this because from what I have heard from people, and what I agree with is that, most of the era population want new things, but when they get new things, they complain about it until it gets changed back to its old self.
When new things are put in, they are always going to be compared to the old things that they are replacing or what not.

The Foundation should have never happened.
It only happened because Bosh wanted a gang and Vulcan happened to have power at the time.

Nothing against the guy, but Bosh really has no qualities that dazzle him as gang leader.
He can't PK, he doesn't have any pull on the "Good PKer" playerbase, and he's just not capable of setting a bar.

LordBosh is in the same playing field as TheGuy.
He's done nothing other than existed, made friends with admins, and thus, received a business.

Some of you are being completely ignorant to the actual problem at hand, screaming "new new new" and not paying attention to any of the difficulties that come along with it. First off, there's an obvious reset coming up quickly on us. Let's say we decide to make a brand new gang from scratch. Step one: put out a gang application. This would take at least 2 weeks for it to be a fair process to everyone, allowing them to create a decent back story, get signatures, have some original ideas. Step two: development. Let's say the gang decided they'd go ahead and develop it themselves. The whole thing would STILL need to be redone unless we have a second blookat on our hands, but nine out of ten times someone thinks they can do 4 aspects of development, they suck at each one. So give us another 2 weeks to make a full constructed and scripted gang base, gang gun, and GANIs. How long do you honestly think that gang would have to make an indent before the reset? And if they didn't get anything done BEFORE the reset, the chances they'd survive coming back from the reset would be almost nothing. And this is all assuming we don't reset within the four weeks it took to get it running.

It isn't so easy to just have a new gang created out of nothingness and have it running in minutes. We're trying to bring back something old that may have failed before because it'll keep everyone occupied for the short time we have. We aren't trying to stick the same people in charge of every old gang and give them a second chance or anything, we're simply taking the old idea and attempting to adapt it to today's era so that we can have a quick fix to the problem. And if you don't think this is a good idea, simply click the checkbox that says "New Gang" on the poll, and your voice will be heard.

The thing is, no one really cares about gang history or background. It would be a waste of time making permanent bases and customizing them for each gang that some group plans out because the day they fail the building becomes a waste of space. It would just be easier to have it the way it was said earlier in the thread.

I'm pretty sure the reset is going to take a long time. I think you guys should just make it easier and bring back whatever gang it is you can do fastest. Then get a new gang finished for after the reset. : ]

It's simple Kuraiittou Syndicate.

For the longest time i've wanted to turn Kuraiittou into a gang.

We already have a theme, a mansion that can easily be converted into a gang base, a large fan base and plenty of people interested in joining.

So it seems pretty logical to have it turned into a gang,
It wouldn't take really any effort aside from re-uploading old levels.
None of the old gangs would survive,
they've been drug out from the grave too many times to count,
And none of them were successful.

I have a LOT of experience running things on Era,
i've ran some of the biggest and most successful businesses.
I created/ran Neo Technology with Dell, than handed it to Kinetaro.
I created/ran Ninja with Dell, than handed it to someone..I forget who now.
Deliday hotel etc.. I've been around on Era for around 9 years now, not once have I had the chance to run a gang.

Should atleast consider Kuraiittou Syndicate, it would be something completely new and refreshing.

I've put some thought into this.

Hop onto Era and ask yourself: What makes one gang different from the other?
Here's what I'm seeing:

1. Generic "warehouse" theme in every base.
2. LC and BB's gang gun is practically the same.
3. Hardly an effective ranking system in any gang; I've asked several
   Black Holst leaders how long they've been in, and I get
   responses like "9 months".
4. "Old" gang members that come on after months
   and expect to get ranked exceptionally high.

Here's what I propose:

1. I say that there be a unique theme to every gang-- Examples;
   One "warehouse" themed gang, base located inland Era city; One
   "ship" themed gang, base located on a ship on the shore; and
   one base located in the sewers.
   
2. A certain uniqueness to gang guns-- I've seen some creative
   gang weapons in my time; Tachi had sewer elixers+petrol bombs,
   Los Carteles had the Hypershell(a gun with overbearing spread),
   Black Holst had grenades, and even their current Black Holster.
   Each gang should have a weapon that makes them unique, not the
   same gun with a new graphic. We could honor old gang guns by
   making them event items.
   
3. Ranking system- It should be mandatory that each gang follow a
   ranking system. By this, I mean that each member should work for
   their ranks. I was in Black Holst for 6 months before I got promoted
   for the first time-- that's just how it was back then-- You were rewarded
   for your loyalty.
   
4. Erase current gangs completely. If you're going to make a "new Era",
   make a new Era-- period. Create new gangs. This way you can work
   from scratch and you won't have to deal with players from previous
   gangs going "Our old base was better", or "I was leader of this gang,
   so I'm next in line to get it". It'll give Era a fresh new feel, and make it
   evident that things have changed.

I'd like to see PK-friendly bases. By this, I mean bases that aren't
cramped; bases that you can move around and dodge bullets in.
Some bases look nice, but they're not PK friendly; while some are
PK-Friendly, but look horrible. It's almost like the LATs flip a coin
and say: "Do we want to make this base look nice, or do we want it
PK-friendly?" We need to find a middle ground.

It's hard to mimic the gangs like they were back 4~ years ago. The community has changed way too much. Kids join gangs now just the use the gang gun, or maybe they hop a gang because their friend can get them a high rank. There are a few changes in my opinion also, that I would like to see in gangs if we want them to get better.

- Get rid of gang guns. There's really no reason why gangs should have a special gun. They wind up being overpowered. If gangs have a gang gun, it should be more like what it was in the past. Complete ****. You only had it just to say "I own a BB Magnum." It was more like a symbol to your gang, not something that you would use in sparring / pking. It will cut the people out that join gangs just for the gun, thus creating more loyal members.

- By script, limit the number of recruiters a gang can have. This way the leader doesn't toss out recruiting rights to all their friends. This would mean that the leader has to put people that will do the best job in the position. Members will want to work harder and prove themselves to become a recruiter. It's too easy these days.
