gelat weapons is an advantage ppl with money have to use over the other players, this brings in money 4 zone.

besides i've seen alot of ppl with ability that can easily beat somebody with gelat weapons.

Some players earned their right to use their weapons that cost real money. However that said, the other side of this is should the players who have money be allowed to use it to the advantage of those less fortunate than themselves to gain advantages in what is supposed to be a competition of skill?

Of course it would be unfair to have a better version of the original weapon that most of the server is forced to use in such an event, but gelat weapons can be countered with different types of free weapons in other instances.

I can beat double shotgunners with a normal shotgun, no sweat, but I don't know if that's fair to say, because they're not technically gelat weapons, but event weapons. I don't think having gelat weapons in certain events really matters, but there's so many ways it could vary.

One big thing about gelat weapons, as you brought up, is that they can be used with any class, therefore giving the gelat wielder a lot more flexibility than people who aren't so free with their money.

Weapons are available through all means of purchase, the Zonemoney shop weapons are permanent, but you need to purchase ammo, the Gelatshop ones last X amount of days with infinite ammo.

The two weapons in the shop currently only last one month. The gelatshop weapons don't have infinite ammo either. I think the ammo upgrades only last a month too so its not really worth it..

I re-call my Decision and change it to "Nay", I thought you ment should they host off more Gelat Weapons, not, allowed Gelat Weapons to be used in Events to win Event prizes, I say Events should have a standard set of weapons, as it is, which anyone can use, the Gelat Weapons are for an Advantage, for paying money, but for Prized Events, I believe you are not to have an "Advantage" over the other players (Disregarding, Exp for Muramasa, and Lightsabre), its agianst the rules.

For the people who complain about zone, why don't you play on another server? Zone really dson't need people who complain about all everything. Yes zone needs some changes but you don't have to be so up on everything. Dan and Jesse can only do so much.

Staff on Graal want money, not if you want people who don't support Graal by paying to be equal with the ones paying. It will just stop players who are buying galets...well... to stop buying galets because it would be equal if you have galet items or not.

Well yes, and I'm not sure as far as John, whatever he goes by, I don't know what his reasoning is.

Gelat weapons are fine. The big questions is should they be allowed in events? It is one thing if they are the prize, but should they be allowed in a competition of skill? I believe that competition's of skill should be on an equal playing field as far as events go.

You can make the point that the players pay for their advantage, and many server's have already disabled such advantages (I'm talking about the card effects) and overall the management needs to decide how far they are willing to go.

The question of this thread, or at least as I see it, is should customers who pay for more advantages be given an advantage in a competition of skill?

My biggest point would have to be if it is a competition of skill, then the players should all use the same weapons so that the player with the most skill wins, not the player who is able to buy the "best" weapon.

The best alternative would be to allow for a slightly more expensive form of membership (In Gelats) that would allow for Zone gelat items to be bought from the Zone money shop, if the players paid a significant amount of money for the advantage.

I believe that only certain members, Gold members, and if they created it, a new "gold +" members, or even if they created this as well "Zone premium" membership, will be given special access to the shop for additional gelats.

Such a system would make use of the Zone money, allowing for it to be spent on something. It would satisfy the players and could provide the aspect of the management earning more money from more gelat expensive membership forms on Zone.

Bah what do I know. I just sound like someone saying," Milk the cow" I'm just suggesting a solution and identifying what I see as the problem with allowing gelat items in events.

Gelat items should not be allowed in competitions of skill.

Haha, well about the "premium gold", that would actually be a pretty good idea for changing the actual payment and slightly raise the current payment. So no matter what all gold members could just be able to buy more Trader weapons with Zone money. (Example: On Valentines day only gold members were aloud to buy the love rifle)

For the record, I voted "No" when the title or w/e read "Gelets and Events" or something. Or I misread it which would be my mistake. The title has been altered though since I voted I believe.

I don't feel Gelets should be in events, I see no issue with Gelet weapons being in events. I think if anything everyone should be happy I have Gelet items hosted off in events. Means that some lucky players don't need to pay real money for em.
