Era has a horrible economy so what the team could do (Which would need a reset) is get rid of player ran businesses because the owner will just sit there and suck up money for himself. Make the businesses restock every hour by the server instead of by players.

Player-owned businesses are a big part of Era...I don't think we should remove them. I don't even think they've played that big of a part on Era's ****ty economy. Every economy will have some people who are wealthier than others, it's a fact of life.

If they are brought back, bring back the small ones except have a weekly/monthly cost for upkeep. The small ones had more competitions rather than the current few.

maybe just make businesses more of a role play / fun type thing instead of huge money machines. It was always fun serving donuts to people in DD even though we made like 1k a week.

Well why not have both? Have the fun ones given to players who are voted as owners and have the money able to be withdrawn from the owners if they wish to give a bonus to an employee, otherwise use the money earned for event items or as prize money for a spar tournament. The small businesses could be much harder to run but the owner would be able to keep the money.

Oh yes, I agree with that. CE, SP and DD should also be playerowned. Its cool for the players, And it isnt stupid work. People like to have a job in a shop, But since DD and CE are NPC-Owned, Alot of players lost their job. It should come back.

About the Economy, This is just a problem for now. I suggest that Era should buy a own / real Site, Where they put all information on. And they could also have a Standard Trade Value of everything. (Like Sizzle's Era)
Anyway, If they could release a official Era Site (A real one which is hosted like: www.GraalEra.com or something), And at the same time make sure that everything is done (Gun Info, Trade Values etc.) they can release the new Era and have a reset. If everyone just stay active on the Era Site, And all the Trade Values stay the same, We would have a better Economy. Or not?

Not sure, But i think some people which are kinda rich ****ed all prizes up or something, I think that nobody have a idea why the Economy rlly changed.

and @ name: people wont go for " This gun is only 5k " you wont be able to keep things down priced just because of a website saying " Glock is 5k " or such, if i player wants to sell it for 10k, he will... then things will just up from there o.o

that's one of MANY reasons why it's messed up

after the reset Smu announced he was auctioning businesses. this made people work a lot and save a lot. a lot of people had like 100k+ already. only one person can buy the business. someone spends 200k on a business, 5 other people have like 150k they were bidding with. auctioning businesses didn't help the economy at all and they thought it would.

been a bit busy here.

had school on friday, was out for most of the evening.
today I had work, after work went to a friends house then to the movies and stuff. got back really late.
tomorrow is my birthday, and I have homework to do (specifically a 5 page paper z.z) so I put things on hold until monday. hope everyone understands.

It would have to be after the reset and you'll find out why...

The event would be called "Battle of the Ninjas"

The event would be Terisu Family(it could be called something else) vs. (Not sure yet...)

Teams are selected randomly...

TF would get the "Katana"
Unknown?? would get the "Bamboo Rod"
Both Teams would have access to Shurikens or what ever their called.

The point of the event would be to capture the base and kill the opposite team.

Outside of the event the Katana and Bamboo Rod Disappear.
This would be a great event for those of you who miss the Katana (I know I do, it was fun)

I was thinking it would be cool if a large portion of the waterfront was made to look like industrial docks. Lots of concrete and factories.

Do you have any idea how many people will get ticked off with the Bamboo? Katana is one of the most corruptible, unfair, and awesome weapon ever. No one will allow this.

Just because he is suggesting an event with katanas and bamboo doesn't mean that the weapons have to have the same stats as they did before on era.

Since you people are talking about the Katana/Bamboo event. Remember i've created a Ninja CTF? I didnt get any comment on it from the Staff, Exept Sales, Vice and Sidney. Sidney liked it, Sales said it was to small for a real CTF. But the idea was to have one team use Katana, And the other one Bamboo/Shurikens. Never head anything else about it

i have a few things planned for new items, that people can actually make as part of the economy. will be fun, finished on the inventory, working on the GUI tonight/tomorrow [depending if I feel jet lagged] and then I have all the main systems done. will then work on re-making the options, then doing it from the beginning. going well
all main systems are done, just need to put an interface to most of it

it's generally already done, won't take me longer than five or so minutes for that system

I can't really get things the way I want it. Besides, my leveling ability has gone down a lot since I have hardly done any real level creation in a long time.
