The colors seem too strong - not now, but once you put some content in it you will agree.

I prefer the "Keep It Simple, Stupid" or K.I.S.S. approach to design. You may reference Google as an example.

hey, ive set up a website for the first time
i made the basic layout, decided not to start with the graphics
i would like your opinions on it
is the layout any good?(oh and dont mind the song xD)
