It would still be dead. The existence of action doesn't guarantee a server's survival. When 2K1 was dying, just about everything was tried (new features, new events, new monsters, reset, etc.) and it didn't do a thing. If you want to see if an idea has potential, ask yourself what reasons a player has to play 2K2 instead of Zodiac, and then see if that idea adds to that list in a meaningful way.
My statement stands true in itself. If players were more interested in helping and less in complaining they would be occupied, so much so that they probably wouldn't leave because "there's nothing to do".

Occupied doing what? Playing the server? We're talking about a group of around 10 forumgoers, most of whom actually do play the server. Developing? Even if it were possible, development in and of itself accomplishes very little.
