Ogma's Bracers?

Curious, do Ogma's bracers exist? If so, are the statistics different than the ones listed in the god description? I don't feel like buying another RoE, Sash, etc if it will be somewhat useless.

they exist, but the stats aren't exact. You dont get any of the regen, damage, fire resist.. but you do get the str 8-)

They exist, and they do give dam+ etc. Very very nice bracers, but are not released (too powerful I assume). Bracers of Wargs I believe.

They exist for some people (more or less people who benefit from corruption) and have half of their stats. Regen/Dam/Fire res aren't given by them.

For how it was first meant to be goten (A priest with a very high Wis level), they were pretty balanced. But then came Sigil, Sash, Bloods and Mass amounts of Dias + Plat. Wis/Pow a piece of Bamboo, viola.. you just busted an Excal. =P

Bracers overpowered? Hah. Not when they don't even give the AC they're supposed to.

Uh; Str+2 and Damage is insanely powerful; even moreso when you add regeneration and resistances. AC is expendable.

Still, the AC is gone on all bracers. =[ They're rare, and once you get them, they don't serve much of a purpose save for a few of them. (Dex, Wood, Ice, Ogma)

Brigid gets NO WEAPONS. <_< They're not very effective ac/wc gloves because of that.

Gloves of the sun advantages AC, Physical and Fire magic attached.
Bracers advantages resist cold +20, Health Regain +1.
The damage on the gloves could be lowerd, but since Ogma is a physical fighter, and not magic, I don't see why it should.

I'd rather have ogma's bracers over sun gloves, because sun gloves are.. gloves and ogma's bracers are.. bracers and the best bracers at the moment if they were ubtainable. I wouldn't mind if the stats didn't even have damage but just str+1 and maybe some poison resistance >_>

IMO the Bracers are much better than the golves of the sun

Now I know some of you will disagree but look at it this way. The Str is a good stat for fighting and is the best part of the bracers, but the gloves have great stats. However being a god Item most people wont beable to EA them past 5 or 6 and combine that with not being able to hold weapons and you have a pretty big sacrafice for 6 AC and some low fire damage that you could get with the 1337 flaming sword.

I meant having the item, not from worshipping Brigid. I already have 30/30/28 so I'm not in dire need of the str, but an extra load of AC helps (which would be gotten from the gloves). Not to mention fire attacktype.

But if you had ogmas bracers you could sacrifice a different str item to help you get the last 2 con.

I used to be ogma (1 day ago) but only for the poison immunity.
The only problem was the stupid food bar. I couldn't spar with any other amulet than sust ammy. Without sust the food bar would get raped in a matter of minutes so ogma made my speed ammy useless. sux2bogmaimo

I'd love to be some many other Gods than Bile. But the food restricts me form doing that. I used to be Ogma (2 years ago) and I changed to bile for food bar. And I havn't changed since.

Brigid is really bad for food you have you regen your mana all the time but when you do that it will go down even faster because Brigid has magic regen+

HP regen without a sust ammy takes like 2 food per hp-tick if you aren't bile.

And even now Bile is bad for food. The food goes down much faster now. I used to go week and weeks without eating. Now I'm eating everyday.

Yes the food situation at the moment is bad, I'm bile now because of this and I still have to refill my food bar every day, its extrememly annoying.. The only reason I changed to bile was because food should go down slower, it doesn't seem to now though
