Text based RC

I recently installed debian on a very old computer, which is one of the reasons I didn't install a desktop environment.
I found that a text based RC could be useful to a limited extent. One wouldn't be able to debug particle effects properly of course, but data based scripts wouldn't be much of a problem if you found a useful output. (Namely echo())
