MS released a new Application Compatibility Toolkit to evaluate compatibility with Vista yesterday. It can be used in Win2k and WinXP
Not sure if it is of any use, but here it is: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...playlang=en%20
That program is more for checking if the installed programs are known to work fine after OS upgrade / Windows update. It is not checking for bugs or so in the program or OS itself.
We will try to test Graal soon on Vista.
we need a Windows Vista compatible Graal client right away. Compatibility is set to "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)" and everytime the Graal client is run, it goes through its usual auto update and once the Download Progress is at 100%, an error message is displayed on the screen:
Access violation at address 6CFD1826 in module 'AcLayers.dll'. Read of Address 00000010.
I randomly get booted off the Graal client, but one thing that does close the Graal client is if you press Alt+2 to try and take a screenshot. Sometimes double-clicking on toall messages will boot me out of the Graal client too. Graphics seem ok, except for when you press the Tab button to show the text box.
Oh btw, my Windows Experience Index base score is 4.1 out of 5.
