I dont like your tiles and I believe if your going to try to create a modern type server (Which Era has done) your going to have to take on areas of both Graphics and game play.

Sadly those tiles seem to have good textures and shadeing but a lot of the line art is pretty bad and the way they all all come together doesnt look good to me either.

My Opinion though, dont cry or cut yourself over it.

Look for one Ima just say this, that was the damn point I was trying to state. Im saying if your going to make a damn Modern server your going to be taking on graal current and only modern server Era. Its fact, please dont cut yourself over it.

Its like Dark Messiah and Oblivon or Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 or PC and Macs.

If your going to create something that isn't brand new your going to be taking on some sort of opponent and your going to want to be better than them. DA.

Im just going to say this, i vhelemently dissagree, given permission from the creators and owner of the server,(Pretty ****ing please! ) i would use this in a flash, they are some of the best well made tilesets ive seen, i do have some problems with them but most of that is simply because my server will use custom boddies that are considerably taller and bigger. the only thing that really sticks out are the windows, anything else can be fixed with a shade or two

Well heres the thing... The tileset was given to graal x by one of the coolest people i have ever met on graal and I respect him alot (Madj) so therefore since he actually let Graal X use his tileset instead of just DLing it i cannot give it away to any other servers, but thanks.

And i know the tileset isnt the best.. and niether are the levels.. but keep in mind.. these are the first levels made for graal X.. that is why we are working on new OWs and stuff.

to tell you the truth at the moment i appriciate nothing on GX but the graphics and the instruments i hate everything else, but thats not just because i think its bad, its also because i dont have any interest in gang servers, i just hang out there to play music and wonder how in the world ill ever make a graphics tileset that leet. ill probably end up contacting madj, ask him and get turned down, then get a camera and take pictures of seattle's look. maybe japan if i go, but that would be really far away ( i hear their city structure is very efficient though.)

I seriously doubt that will be the main island when the others finished. Something tells me it will be great.

What I was trying to say is simples terms about the tileset is Its pretty much looks like Era with better grass and more Vibrant colors.

Some examples of tiles that dont look to well at all are the windows. Umm Inside tiles wise Ive seen some server Malinko was working on once that actually had inside tiles pretty down packed. Esteria has a more modern type of inside tile setup and its pretty good as well (Even if the tiles arnt 100% innovative, please dont use that arugement)

I think the shading and the textures and choices of colors look nice but a lot of the line art and stuff looks so plain and boring like the walls and etc.

i see nothing wrong with the line art, and i dont know what your getting at either, the thing i dont like about the outside levels is the lack of anything on the streets, its true that their buildings could use variation, but they are very passable, Ive seen some of the stuff on the east side of the map and they do pretty good there too. alot of the problems with the tileset is lack of variation, mostly because the tileset is incomplete mostly, its missing alot of the variation that makes a city look busy, but there isnt anything inheritantly wrong with the tilesets in my opinion, the only arguable thing is the built in lighting on some tiles.

Its the LAT not the tileset...As for Bravo evolved having better tiles what?!?! I have that tileset (And permission for glub to use it on a past project) and I can prove it doesnt.

To go hosted you only need a temp overworld. And there is a real overworld.. just because you can't goto it doesn't mean there isn't one... seriously get lost.
