Why isn't Babylon on the Classic list yet?

Just curious. No, this is not a question to PWA, more so, to Babylon Administration, though anyone could contribute to this thread. I'm pretty sure the whole slogan was something to do with how Babylon would be coming Classic so soon, this summer, etc., with a few server surges of 100 people every now and then with free NPCs given out as incentive to stay. So what's up?

Perhaps they could bring Babylon to the hosted tab, so people can see it's trying to come back, and it might bring some life to the hosted tab again, since Zodiac is gone from it now.

I agree with Babylon on the hosted tab, as it has a good ammount of content and it does still have classic status (unless it's been recently changed :o).

I don't think it will ever be back to it's old greatness, I don't think it should ever be put back on the classic list, cause it's just over and done with. Some bad decisions have brought it down, and it's never coming back up from that, I think.

The funny part about this is the fact that Malinko saw me on GK maybe a day prior to banning me on Babylon, and also that I hadn't actually logged on there for over a year and a half.. wasn't evern planning on logging in again, either. But seriously, does it deserve to be? It takes a very well designed server to be worthy of being classic.
Also, since Zodiac was just added, there likely won't be any more added to the classic tab any time soon.

The only time Babylon was classic-worthy was under Alexander's management (and several other managers before then).
However, since then, there have been servers released with a much higher quality of content; as a result, the expectations of servers striving to achieve classic stature rise accordingly. If Babylon were to apply now as it had been before, it would surely fail.

I'll tell you all what happened without getting into illegal against forums opinions. This should remain unedited as it breaks no rule. Don't let the pitty "THIS POST IS HARASSING ME" get in the way, some people use that as a fake shield.

Log on one morning and something is wrong on RC. Malinko aims me and tells me Artanis is cheating on him. When Artanis gets on RC I aim malinko and hes like "are people going crazy?" or something along these lines. I say no and he gets disappointed. The moment Artanis disconnects Lea the following goes through my head.

-Artanis cheats on Malinko
-Malinko mad at Artanis
-Artanis will be fired since they're no longer together
-I will DC Artanis in revenge for dcing Lea
-O**** if I let her get back on my RC is gonna be deleted by Artanis and
Malinko isn't going to be on graal for days (he said so himself).
-I'll have to keep dcing her so she wont mess us all up

So I do this. I DC her over and over again until someone suggests simply banning. Tones and Lea were clear supporters of me and were very pissed off at Artanis.

Malinko then logs on RC tells us to stop, and then while Vulcan (PWA) is there says he is shutting down the server. Everyone is deleted from serverops, rights deleted, and everyone is disconnected. I must say he is damn fast at it too!

Next day I log on and I'm banned. Malinko is not on aim. I aim Tones and Lea and they are also banned. Later on it appears everyone but Tones, Lea, me and maybe 1-2 more people are unbanned. The staff list is back to normal except without us "anti artanis" people. I become highly suscpicious. Here i'd give you my theory on why but it's against the rules as it could classify as harassment.

I try to get a hold of Malinko but impossible. He has my AIM blocked and I'm still banned on Babylon. The reason is irrelevant, it was "ban evasion" lol...

I finally get in contact with Malinko and after a long conversation he simply says something along the lines of "i fired you because I don't want to hurt my friends". The reason for the artanis cheating on malinko thing was because, as he said, "I'm bipolar". So basically what he's trying to say to us is that artanis never cheated on him.

After I was fired, some staff members kept asking Malinko to hire me. They knew without me the server was dead. Shortly after Inferno, a great LAT in my opinion, quit. Tones and Lea were still fired, I believed.

Zanity also got threatned to be fired if he kept asking for me to be re-hired.

What's going to happen to Babylon? You tell me.

Wrong. We had a new overworld in the works WHICH WAS NOT PUBLIC. Players start on the old map, obviously the server is in development. Stop being so damn ignorant.

Malinko was the most active pwa I encountered. Seemed nice, helped us quite a bit.
However....
He lost his possition due to hacking: God Mode. It was a clear hit, and yet he was 100% a-okay. Clearly some hacking was goin' on

Anyway, if it is technically a dev server, it should not have classic status.
Make a sepperate server called Babylon dev or something.
Also, quit acting like you have dev server privliges, like banning people for little reason, if you are going to keep classic status
