And also, yeah, starting from scratch will take time.. you need patients for a good server to be developed... something alotta era staff dont have, thats why there are so many flaws in the firstplace. I mean, honeslty, your only thinkin about yourself when you post stuff like that.. you just wanna play your favorite server, if it sucks or not, you dont want the wait.

Not old at all.. it was just recently recoded into GS2.. I think era's the only GS2 classic server.

Just about everything was rescripted in the last 6 months.

Era isn't Atrius, sorry. We don't just redo the entire server whenever we get bored.

Mathematical concepts do not get worse with age. They are tried and tested and refined, eventually forming the foundations on which more ideas can be built.

When you start coding something new, you always inject defects. If you recode what has already been developed, you will inject defects. This will happen, no matter how hard you might try to prevent it.

The next time you want to correct me on my concepts of software development, get some formal training, then come back and find a more feasible subject with which to cast doubt upon my credibility.

If you want a server that is "starting from scratch", please, feel free to join and play on one of the aformentioned undeveloped servers. Our community would be far richer for you doing so.

Insofar as the accusation that I selfishly do not wish for the aspects of the game which are totally unrelated to this so-called "economic instability" to be stripped from us, I irrevocably concede.
I also counter-retort that you yourself have been too slothly to put in the effort to make your character as good as those of myself and the couple of hundred others that voted against a reset. With that in mind I propose that your attitude is opportunistic, and I can only assume that you have taken your stance on the basis that a server reset will take away our edge over you in PVP.

You are right. But we earned it. Through our own time and effort.
