If you're going to give advice, please don't give bad advice. You don't need a bajillion colour gradient to shade something well. I think that's a lesson you should learn.

And one of those legs is farther back than the other (sort of). He's got the right idea he just needs to get it right in practice.

P.S. Andork. A common technique when learning art (How to draw, paint, sculpt, etc) is to think of things as if they were made up of basic geometric shapes. Perhaps that could apply here. Try practicing creating basic shapes that fit into Graals perspective.
