Staff Messages on v4

I noticed with mass messages turned off that i do not receive messages from any steff member when they mass. Shouldn't it be how it used to be where it still let the staff messages get through and only blocked player messages. I miss events and stuff.

It should not be an option. o.o
Staff mass messages should be received no matter what.

Yes its true, staff mass messages are not supposed to be turned off.
I have noticed staff messages are being blocked.

For the messages to bypass the mass message blocker, they staff member that is massing must have RC.

Mass messages are blocked on the server, so it is exactly the same on v2 and v4. Also this has not been changed. Mass messages are not blocked when the sender has RC or adminlevel>=1 (admins logged in with client). May be it could be changed to also not block messages sent by people with staff tag?

This would definitely help the Events Team members, as most servers don't give Events Team members RC (Although I have seen a few servers that just give the ETs RC just for the sole purpose of evading the mass message block.)

I haven't tried this myself, but just adding the account to staff= and blocking the IP range totally should, in theory, allow that account to bypass the block masses feature.

Doesn't work, only admin accounts (private/hosted playerworlds) are allowed to login to the client with the rights if the ip range is wrong.
