Truth is Chris told me to talk to Tseng. I messaged him on GK and told him i'd like to help out and we should talk later when I am back into the grove. That never happened.

The thing that would make Graal2001 fun would be a lot of players. Without a lot of players the whole hat system would have little meaning, trading area would be crappy because its not as fun and populated, owning houses isnt really that great with 5 players on, and actually having money+doing quests+having all the items you could possibly have would be worthless.

Aka, you need the players :x

It sure would be nice to see the old Graal2001 with lots of players. Unlikely it'll happen though - all the players seemed to have lost interest in it..

The ONLY way I am coming back to graal is if Oasis or 2k1 is released.

I just hope 2k1 doesn't fall back into the trap of a very small update every 2 months. (HOORAY, A HAT SHOP RESTOCK!)

I doubt 2k1 will ever be as good again anyway, as all the awesome people have left.

Grr. Thinking about 2k1 always depresses me.

Have you even read the thread? That's just a small fraction too. There are a TON of Classic players just waiting for 2k1.

Besides the quotes... 2k1 failed 15 months ago because there were no kingdoms. Probably the fact that it released 2 weeks AFTER the countdown said 0 and Happy Graal2001. Probably because there was nothing to do but mash buttons. I could mash buttons on 2k2 or UN or Era or something.

I don't know why the old backups wouldn't work. This whole mess doesn't make sense at all. Sure there were glitches, but all servers have glitches.

I was totally up for working my ass for this, as was Shadowless. We were ready to bring it back. However, us being the only working people was something of... discouraging. There were no other active LATs, or GATs. Chris claims to be able to do Graphics, and other work, yet when Shadowless or I asked him the response was; I'm busy. Lance was busy with life, and he was the only capable scripter. So in response, Shadowless and I quit. Shadowless put the most effort in, out of anyone that was "Staff" at the point in time. Nothing was being done about finding more staff, and I highly doubt it will succeed in any sort of revival. Good luck, though.

Listen, we've been over this before. I refuse to allow the quality of Graal2001 to decrease, and this is what will happen if I hire any average joe who just happens to be interested in helping. The kingdoms were nearly finished, and once Excalibur and I work out what needs to happen, progress can be made towards as early as a Christmas re-release.

I have spoken with Spark about the matter, and he perfectly understands my position. I refuse to sacrifice the quality that Graal2001 always stood for. To do otherwise would be to make a fatal flaw, and watch Graal2001 (both server and community) decline to something horrible. I would rather see Graal2001 in development than see it released (yet again) in a piss-poor state.

Now, kindly cease this behavior.

I can see why Scott and Shadowless left now. I didn't want it to come to this Lance, I ever tried to stick up for you instead of talking to Stefan. But soon I begain to realise that nothing was going to change. You were active for one night, and since then, you logged on g2k2debug and the forums, and not once G2k1dev.

Actually, G2k1dev is worse then the main server. There are missing levels, and like on the main server, most of the scripts are "broke."

The v3 jail was put into place because of some problems with how the earlier versions of v3 were coded - the freezeplayer command was not working properly, neither was disabledefmovement. This would have allowed people to cheat at the jobs. To prevent the cheating, the v3 jail was put into place until all of the bugs could be ironed out.

G2k1 = Bomy Moon
G2k2-3 = Kingdoms
G2k4-5 = Zone

G2k1 was changed to Bomymoon, and was changed because because bomymoon sucked.

G2k2 was changed to Graal Kingdoms, and should be changed to 'Letskillmonstersandgetalltheitems' or something.

wait in Year 2004 the Graal3D project started to get worked on more and the first beta was released. Would Graal2004 be Graal3D?
