Angry GK is dying for obvious reasons

Well, I think it is anyway. Here are my reasons:

1. The staff on that game are not paying as much attention to Graal Kingdoms as they are to Zone.

2. The overall playercount on Graal Kingdoms has dropped dramatically.

3. If there is a problem on Graal Kingdoms, no one is around to fix it anymore.

I bet it is Stefan, I see like 1 event master on in at least 1 week.
I still haven't had my items fixed because you are the only one who has the "powers" to do so.

There is another problem. I can't even post on threads, only make them. It says this when I try to:
Could not find phrase 'throttle'.

Here is another one that I personally love:

STAFF NEVER ANSWER FORUM PMs!

..and RESTORE REW_DarkLink200's Wand of Sorcery X_X

GK is dying because...

1) Lack of events
2) Lack of staff, or atleast staff interest
3) Lack of productivity
4) Lack of item flow (so many people have quit that possess items that you cant find around anymore, and that has stopped the item flow (trading/selling of the item))
5) Lack of things to do
6) Lack of stronger monsters

And one of the main reasons..

**The fact that it requires gold time, which will require people to always upgrade for something that they dont feel is worth upgrading.

Thats what I've heard from the players.

It's not dying:

- several huge improvements planned; the new mudlib took a long time to make but its now close to be finished, we are already developing with it on the debug server - trade items go back into your inventory if you logout, we can block hurting of people in trade room etc.
- some non-working content will be made working soon, like spells without gfx
- the EMs are quite active actually

the last graal update just made things worse, the bomys and monsters now appear from nothing and some people dont even see them coming, not to mention some items disappeared and have yet to be replaced...

I'm sad to say, but I agree that GK is dying.
Scammers and powerplayers have taken over and are making players want to quit.
The playercount is down from its pround 150 a day down to barely 60.
EM's also aren't as active as they used to be, I'll agree with that, too.
The lack of anything new doesn't help, either. I haven't seen anything new for quite some time now.

The sad thing is that as days progress, more people are quitting the server, and the staff are doing nothing to fix things.

The fact that GK is a gold server is a problem for a lot of players. Players either dont have the money or have not been impressed enough to reupgrade, so most players quit once their gold time runs out, and then all of their items die along with them, stopping the item cycle.

Something needs to be done quickly before GK dies....maybe make it classic for a little while and see how things goes, or do something. Just dont sit back and wait for it to die.

Well this tends to happen. Graal Classic started to die because of Graal2001, Graal2001 died because of Graal Kingdoms, and now Graal Kingdoms will start to die because of Zone. Fortunately Graal3D went no where, but if it does, you'll see the fall of Zone.

Maybe GK should go to Classic mode then... and get a few staff... even a active GP team might help it..
but thats just my 2 cents.. I dont care if you dislike it or not.. just an idea that Might help... but I have a my doubts.

No, if GK was ran by staff that are use to playing classic servers, then it would fail. I do agree that it shouldnt be a gold server anymore, though.

I agree on some terms, but not all.

-There are a short number of Graal Kingdoms staff, we are trying to produce development as quick as we can. There isn't many staff as many people think.
-Zone is being only worked on by Stefan and Garel, I don't think many other people help with Zone development. Therefore, Zone development is not cutting into Graal Kingdoms development.
-The new mudlib has been released and fixed many bugs, also fixing more bugs/glitches so that player can not scam. Scam -is legal- (sadly), but we can not clearly punish people for scamming if we are not in the situation.
-Restoring items. I do not know what to say about this issue. No one can restore besides Stefan, and he clearly does not want to restore right now. Until more players can be trusted on Graal Kingdoms, I don't think restoring will be back anytime soon.
-Event Masters. I don't know the status of EMs these days. I don't know if they host a lot or not, seeing how I am not an active GK Developer myself, but you can always contact Sam (Schlurfy), he is the Events Master Admin, I'm sure he will listen to you if you have a problem with EMs.
-If you have any suggestions, PLEASE forum PM any of the Graal Kingdoms staff or even refer to the GK staff contact list, I'm sure they will be happy to help, if not, they suck at life. You can always forum PM me though, I'll be sure to get your ideas/suggestions read. Don't be afraid to, you are a prized player on a gold server, we will listen to what you have to say. Just because you aren't staff, does not mean you can't help develop or get noticed. So just contact staff at any time.

Can't be trusted? LOL! You ask anyone about me.
I also lost my items because I had an account transfer from Obs311 to LuckX, and no one told me that my items would disappear .

For one, we are going off topic. The EMs are fine now because one of them happens to be very active and is my twin bro IRL. Anyway, we need to focus on GK right now, Zone is fine so let it go, jesus.

Graal Kingdoms is dying not because of those facts... GK's golden peak was a time where there -were no staff or events-

Want to know why Graal Kingdoms is dying?
1) Levels System
2) Lack of Roleplaying
3) Items

I've been saying that for the three odd years or so now.

I agree only about the items we need more this game is horrid with the items noobs can only get now, the only way new people can get items which is USDing which will get you banned and only like 1/8 noobs gets good items i want AC/WC havoks of bandits but im never going to get them no one wants to work for weeks to get a 2d GFX items staff needs to start scripting them so noobs can get some good items
