Because he was a complete idiot when he first started on the forums. (And I mean complete). Then he kept trying to apologize and crap like that, and that just annoyed people. The first thread is around here somewhere, it's was pretty amusing.

Edit: It might also have to do with the fact that he's obsessed with other people liking him, so he acts differently all the time. That's what we call a poser 'round these parts.
