A player saying "Press F7 to open the player list" isn't much different from a readme saying "F7 - Opens up Player List".

I can understand asking people about certain aspects of a server, help starting off with quests, etc.

Hah, that reminds me of wc3. There's a stupid tactic you can use if you're losing. It's called hiding the farm. Basically, if you've got no hope, then you hide some insignificant building (farm, burrow... etc.) So people have to go around and find a hidden thing. It's mostly to annoy people. However, if you've got a lot of forces, then it's kind of handy, if both sides are eating eachother's base. But most people use it for greifing.

Why do I play wc3 again?

They fixed that in Frozen Throne. ^_^
