Osrs, you're going to look like a big fool if what I think happened, happened. If thrashsoul didn't do it (which I doubt he did) then someone got his pass and got on RC and did it on his account.
This means that YOU, yes YOU, did not set an IP range for his account. Since it was probably *.*.*.* ANYONE with his account and pass could access Gaia RC. If you want to leave big security holes open like that, then I think the blame should be equally divided between you and thrashsoul.
You = Didn't make sure he had an ip range set for his RC
Him = Didn't keep his password safe
See, if either of these things didn't occur, you would have no problem. Even if the people got his pass, they couldn't access RC if you had set an ip range. |
