Neglegence2002 is on a distinguished road
My new playerworld, hooray now the flamers have something new to make fun of!

I have decided to post this about my playerworld, named Avalon. I just found out last week that it is also a city in classic (I have only been on classic twice) so to a playerworld admin can I still use the name?

If I can get the necessary help I would like for this to be an RP server, with a class system that has different classes for the 4 nations. Tylad, a nation focusing more on military power since they were invaded in 975, has 6 classes: Infantry, Archer, Mage, Bombardier, Villager, and Royal. The former 4 being able to fight well in battle and the latter 2 staying home in the cities and countryside to support the war effort as best they can. Avalon, always a peaceful nation unless war is absolutley necessary, also has 6 classes: Infantry, Archer, Mage, Fisherman, Villager, and Royal. Mages in Avalon are very skilled with magic (their High Council in the city of Amulithe is visited by messengers from all 4 kings almost yearly for guidance, despite current diplomatic status) whereas there military is not as large or well trained as that of Tylad's. Being a mainly island nation, they have fisherman that can catch fish better than the villagers of the other nations, and are also better at sailing ships. And can so be called up if a navy is needed to fight. Ar is a large continent, having 7 classes: Infantry, Archer, Mage, Hunter, Scientist, Villager, and Royal. Scientists (exculsive to Ar) can reasearch stronger metals for weapons and armor, or sealants for the wood on their ships. They can also work to reasearch any number of other things, and they can share or sell them with the rest of the world or keep them to themselves. Myladia has only 5 classes: Infantry, Archer, Mage, Hunter, and Villager. A mostly nomadic people, they have no need for royals or castles in their lands. Their hunters and archers are the best in the world, able to fire faster and more powerfully, and sculpt bows out of some of the most precious wood from their Valley of the Golden Trees, which is closely guarded and sealed by spells. Their villagers mostly gather berries and tubers, gather wood, or build buildings and such as the Hunters go out in parties of their own, sometimes leaving for weeks and weeks at a time.

I would like the magic system to have several different elements, the basic water, fire, earth, lightning stuff but also other things like undead, holy, and maybe status elements like poison, blind, paralysis, or curse. All these different magics can be obtained by mages in nature from animals, trees, plants, the sea, rocks, mountains, just about anywhere, you just have to know where to look. They can then be imbued into weapons or crafted into spells at Magery Temples. The spells can be stored in spell books and recalled easily for different uses, ranging from altering the weather to stripping an enemies skin from his bones. I would hope that their could be a weather system npc that would effect things like battles, hunting trips, sailing, and thus alter the strategies of the nations themselves. If there was snow on the ground then it would be harder to march and the cold might effect the HP and slowly (very) take away from it. Rain would affect visibility and make mud or rockslides where they are possible, perhaps blocking key routes to an enemies village or camp. Bridges can be built/destroyed as well, to help or protect cities and key movement routes.

When the players arrive it as at the very end of the War of Evil, and they must help to rebuild the 4 kingdoms to the greatness they once had. Many villages will be partially destroyed, some even burned to the ground entirely, and there will be plenty of harsh wilderness to explore and still lots of enemies to kill. I would like to bring back horses with more importance, having them sort of like 2k1 (where they are wild and can be tamed) but also having ranches where they can be bred. Horses will be able to pull carts full of lumber or other supplies and make travel easier in the areas where there are no roads. Armies could also train calvalry instead of typical infantry types.

I would like for players to be able to band together and form their own villages, by carting wood and supplies or finding them when they arrive at a suitable spot. This way they all rely on eachother. There wont be a set job for each person, but as they work on a certain one they gain more skills in it so they can do it better. This way craftsmen would have to build the village, but they would need lumberjacks and miners to get the wood and stone needed. Ranchers would also have to provide horses for the carts. At night it would be advisable to camp and build a campfire to keep the monsters and other unwanted things away while you march, as they are faster and stronger at night, firewood will be found in any number of places, probably by chopping bushes and getting x amount of twigs from it, but I'll figure that out later. Depending on the amount of help I get i would like to add an EXP system that uses leveling up, but not based just on how many enemies you kill. It slowly goes up even if you sit there, but the more active you are, the faster it goes. Then along with that you get boosts by killing enemies, not by pking other players, although I may set aside an area for pking and make it into like a Coliseum or something, since so many people like to pk anyway.

I have only covered some of my ideas and the post is already much too long so I am going to shut up, if anyone wants to help or even just contribute something little, you can contact me on aim at bgumeny2375, or through email at [email protected], or you can forum pm or whatever you want to do. And, a note to the people who like using their "God" status on the Forums, because they have been playing for so long and earned it, and enjoy berating other peoples ideas, I say flame on flamers. I'll just ignore you and look for a constructive post. Or maybe you will decided to add suggestions along with your insults. I have taken out the story and a few other things to shorten this post and make it easier for people to read.
