Minor 2001 bug.

This is effectivly a bug, although not a system bug. Although, I am posting this here as to avoid being flamed by the users of the main forum.

The bug is simply this:

Updates to the Graal2001 server are severly lacking in area of targeting bomies. This is causing (and has caused) an enormous lack in bomy players as well as an enormous ammount of players reseting their accounts to human status.

This bug is a problem because :

1) As stated before, Bomy players reset their accounts to human status. This can be bothersome to people with RC because of a constant flow of new bomy players that enters the server. They enter the server as a bomy, look around as a bomy for a few hours, then give up and become humans.

2) The bomy players that remain as bomys become discouraged from playing Graal, and encouraged to reset their accounts to human status. (I can count only 2 players that have remained as bomys for longer than 3 months. Those people include myself and zwr. My account was upgraded within a week of G2k1 being released, and zwr soon after. Even Antago and Kyle have switched their accounts to humans, and *they* created the bomy race).

3) Bomys become neglected by staff and Events staff.
I have personal experience in this. I have talked with many people who are staff (or who were at the time of my speaking... these people include but are not limited to; Loriel, Pando, Antago...) who have simply given me the impression that other Staff members have given up on the bomy race. Events Team members also, for the most part, refuse to include bomys in any sparring tournaments, CS, CTF, CT, and sometimes Survivor. It has been more than 4 months since I have witnessed a staff held Gully Race as well.

4) The so called "major" difference between the pay2play and free servers has simply become a mockery of its orginal ideal.



I am not trying to start a big rant or anything to that effect. I just wish that this problem would be recognized, or acknowledged by some of the staff that could possibly do something about it.

I have tried speaking with staff members online, and they can't even point me in a direction with which to take this.

With all of that said. This is a bug in the gameplay of the graal2001 server. Can some attention at least be brought to it?
