Do you mean take away the programs that start up with your comp? Click Start, Run, type msconfig and go to startup. The programs listed at what startup with your computer. Don't remove anything like your system tray or rundll exes. Remove things like ICQ, AIM, MSN, any programs that don't need to start up with ur comp. This will free up your system resources when you startup making your comp faster for graal or whatever.
