I'm a lil surprised that no one seems to be questioning about the fact they cannot enter their level without an update to the level.

Didn't I suspect that she may have done something wrong in the filebrowser or perhaps not updated her fileconfig? :P

Sounds like one of those things that happens when Graal doesn't properly recognize a level-related file. Even more so if a gmap is involved, as strange things tend to happen with glitchy gmaps (redirects you to old places, doesn't load NPCs that cross the level border, has updating issues, etc.)
