SOme of thes ideas have been posted.. Others have not.. Bear with me please... (I will bold the most important stuff for you skimmers)
With(getplayer(id)) and idscount
Well This would be a REALLY gould thing for
server-wide events suchs Earth Quakes and the like. It would also be useful for
deleteing old flags or warping everyone to places. Nice and useful.
IDscount ist the number of ids or players online. that would be stuid.
idscount = the highest number ID online so if ids 1,2,5,7,9,14,and,18 are online.. idscount = 18
Keydown for all keys & mouse detection
Keydown2 and mouse acually should fall under general but since im here....
Ok for keyboard.
I know stefan dont want people sturgulling to learn how to play the game with so mant keys and wants it to be gamepad compliant.. But... Name me the people that dont have a game pad. and those who dont have a keyboard... See the difference? Keydown 2 DOES NOT HAVE TO BE FOR MOVEMENT.. It jsut frees u[p scriping A LOT!!! like

I dont know why wer are limited to default since we cant do anything original with them unless we disable movement. and even then are limited to up down left right and ASD
Mouse would be good also.
This does not have to be for movement detecting
mouse position and mouse actions in scripting would be a good idea. It would free up stuff like letting people click on a system item to get more info on it? just detecting where the mouse is and what its doing... like
mousex (on board)
mousey (on board)
mousex2 (on layer4)
mousey2 (on layer4)
flags like..
mouseclicked (if the mosue was clicked)
mousereleased (If the mouse was released)
mousedraged (If the mouse key was down when the mouse came over the NPC)
mousepoint (if mouse in on top of NPC)
This stuff will free up scripting so much it will be awsome. Too many posibilities =D
And it dont have to be for movment. Only scripting options to detect what the mouse is doing would be fine!
