While a 500 playercount is impressive and all that, and certainly cool to brag about... is it really worth the strain on the server and players? How would something like having dual servers work out? 250 players on each server, with synchronized data(your account data is shared between them, so you don't lose progress between the two servers). I mean, seriously... is 250 players REALLY that different than 500, in the grand scheme of things? It's still a crap load of players, more than enough to establish a fun community with. Such a set-up could probably help with a lot of the lag and such that the servers might be handling processing all that data.

I mean, if the servers can handle the 500 playercount find then by all means dismiss this. I have no interest to splitting a server that is having no lag problems.
