What Video Format do you use?

I currently use avi (uncompressed) because it makes the video look nice an "viewable".

I'm wondering because when I upload my videos to youtube it takes hours to upload... right now I'm uploading that lasts around 1-2 minutes and after 3 hours its only 20 percent
