Who's the general opinion? I know you're not. What do you mean not age well? They have infinite replayability and is way more complicated than many RPGs of today.
I'm not saying I am. Generally everyone, not counting the 'fan-club' online, can't stomach them. I enjoy them, but that doesn't stop them from losing their flare to the majority of everyone else. Pretty much everyone has began to subscribe to the "realist graphics are what make the game"
