Sad Day for the Syntex II (RP)

It was a warm sunny afternoon on the Crescent Island as Captain Raghnro Diomora II brought supplies to help his crew hand Alex Merkahn to finish building his home. As he dropped the heavy boards on the ground and gave a deep sigh of relief, he could here the toll of a bell in the instant. Suddenly it became louder. Alex quickly dropped his tools and ran with Raghnro toward the castle. They instantly met with Hikari Sparrow who was responsible for tolling the bell.

"There be lanlubbers from the forests on the island, mate!"

As these words were spoken, they saw the Aranel of Forest pass by. The three of them quickly pursued her. She then boarded a ship bearing the pirate flag and quickly pulled up the ropes; allowing noone else to board.

The men demanded that she disembark and give us the ship. She refused and began working to get the ship moving with the help of the Archmage Grirahan.

Raghnro made use the nearby cannon and began firing warning shots directly into the ship. The ship began escaping, so the three men began heading north to the Syntex II in hopes of intercepting the Foresters.

Before boarding, Raghnro handed a scroll to Alex and asked him to send word to the others that help may be needed. Alex quickly scribbled some words on the scroll and tied it to the collar of Raghnro's monkey. Unfortunatly, the men took so long to get the ship moving, that they ended up having to follow the Forest-taken ship. Hikari Sparrow sailed the ship a long ways, and were near the Sea Side Farm when they caught up. They began firing, and had to keep up with the ship which was trying to escape certain destruction. During the battle, as the enemy ship was sinking, Alex and Raghnro fell from the Syntex II, and Hikari fell from the helm.

As Raghnro and Alex were boarding the ship again, the Foresters used this opporutnity to board the ship along with them.
They quickly took control of the situation and held the three pirates capture. The Aranel explained to the pirates that the ship they had was a gift from the former Governor Alan Steele. The battle had already begun, and the pirates were not going to give up hope simply because of such circumstances. As the Archmage Girihan and the Aranel, Miss Rhyn, lost focus from the pirates, they quickly turned the tables, regained their weapons, and took the Foresters captive, but not before Girihan summoned a great force to keep the ship stuck and slowly damage it. The pirates knew not what was occuring, and began to worry.

But as things were beginning to look down, the help arrived. It was a ship under the command of the Blood Raider Pat Steele. With the help of F. Sparrow and Hetric Cypher they made it to the Syntex II, but it was too late. The ship was slowly being destroyed. At the request of Captain Raghnro Diomora, the other pirate crew destroyed the Syntex II in order to give it in an honorable destruction and not allow it to fall to the hands of the Foresters. Hikari managed to board the other ship, but Alex and Raghnro had to jump to the water as the ship was being destroyed. They were washed ashore to Hotaru and were later found by the ally crew who helped them. Alex and Raghnro had much resting and healing to do...

((Today's battle... not much else to say.))
