That's called a badge... Medals are what's there now (though it's supposed to be strewn to a wire to go around your neck)... learn what something is before making it look "better" which, infact, you made it look like what it wasn't.
Are you stupid, or have you just never seen a medal?
And besides, the current ones look less like a medal.
