I think it would really depend on how well you executed the idea, as to whether or not it would work. Games like Furcadia, where the sole things you can do are games, socialization, and customization, have a decent fanbase. Graal's fanbase on the other hand, has diminished greatly. I know a big part is due to pointless PW's being on the main list where you get PK'd constantly, within seconds of logging on. It's very non newbie friendly, and something like you suggested might better ease players into Graal, and the idea of exploring other servers. I say go for it - if you get things running I'd be more than happy to frequent the PW
