An agility dungeon
|
I think it would be a great idea to make a good use for agility other than getting base levels.. an agility dungeon!
In this dungeon there are many traps laid around the dungeons floors and between paths, you have to detect the traps and disarm them as you go along.
Doors that require a certain level of agility (thieving!) to unlock, monsters that are invulnerable to all attacks and require you steal a key to get into the next room, and secret rooms with hidden treasures!
The higher your agility level, the further you can go (From level 10 perhaps to level 110 can participate and actually have something to keep them occupied/rewards worth their while)
Every 10 levels worth of dungeon, there is a master room where there is the 'big' chest. This chest is the main one to steal from and gives various more prizes than the smaller ones scattered throughout the dungeon.
(these are just opinion, not what should really be chosen)
Rewards from stealing from smaller chests:
Platinum Coins (100~200)
Diamonds (1~3)
Rubies (1~5)
Sapphires (1~5)
Emeralds (5~10)
Pearl (5~10)
Maps
Level 1 (20%)
Level 2 (20%)
Level 3 (25%)
Level 4 (20%)
Immense (10%)
Brutal (5%)
(Note: You can steal from these once every 10 minutes)
Rewards from stealing from 'big' chest:
Platinum Coins (200~400)
Diamonds (5~10)
Rubies (10~15)
Sapphires (10~15)
Emeralds (10~20)
Pearl (10~20)
A chance of item from the Rogue's armorset! (1)
Maps
Level 1 (10%)
Level 2 (10%)
Level 3 (15%)
Level 4 (15%)
Immense (20%)
Brutal (20%)
(Note: These chests can only be stolen from once every hour)
Stealing from anything/unlocking/and disarming traps would all give experience for agility; also a big chest will be put after every 10 levels worth of dungeon (ex. level 10's can get a chest, and level 110's can get one too.), the higher level chest the better chances of getting good items from chest.
(1) Rogues Armorset:
New gloves: Rogue's Gauntlets (ac+1)(speed+1)(stealth)
New cloak: Rogue's Cloak of Darkness (speed+2)(stealth)
New helmet: Rogue's Hood (ac+1)(stealth) <- A use for hoods that are on debug!
New boots: Rogue's Darkleather Greaves (ac+1)(stealth)
New bodyarmour: Rogue's Leatherarmour (ac+1)(resist acid+10)(stealth)
New belt: Rogue's Belt (resist poison+5)(resist death+10)(stealth)
New amulet: Rogue's Pendant (Dex+1)(Con-1)(resist fire -20)(stealth)
New dagger: Rogue's Dagger (damage+7)(luck+5)(attacks: physical, acid)
(All the armorset items have a 1% chance to be gotten, and seem pretty well balanced to me, and if you have them all on you can use a new tag: Rogue)
