War with a role

Wars with objectives are crucial.
wars should be more complex than "pk them til they surrender."

Maybe you could make your own objectives.
An EM makes on both islands a circle of wooden tightly-packed fortifcation and in the middle of the circle one iron fortifcation pole. kill the iron fortifcation inside the circle of packed forties means a melee battle victory.
And for sea basically defeat the ships, protect the kings flagship.

Land and sea its basically them all in one, where you got to destroy the fortifcation ring and its a sail-to-island only thing. so you ned a fleet to protect island or invade islands.

It would get the whole kingdom involved in warfare!

high skilled pvp basically stay on boat, maybe gun until they hit shore, where as the low lvl people sail ships ect.
Every kingdom has weak members.

I really think this should be the way forward for future wars.
