200 sp for teleportation is over-kill, and you know it. Not everybody has 28 pow at ALL times with 3.0+ speed.

On the topic of raidding houses, unstick me is a great laming tool. Lay in somebody's bed, then unstick in a ship, later on, have somebody kill you, raid their house. That's how we do it *****es.

Uhm Ed. I have 20 power and level 19 magic, but I'm not even close to having 200 mana 200 sp would be too much. 50 would be okay, and at level 10. I mean, as Nappa said, else all the powerplayers would have another big advantage. And I've won loads of fights from strong powerplayers with magic as long as they didn't had someone in peace *cough*Nayako*cough* to block my spells or flaming aura. Some ofcourse can beat me because they're more experienced. Like Lance, I guess, as you said.

Magic should only be for magic users or "rp chars", not Barbarians who shouldnt even be able to learn any good magic. :/

I said 200sp because just about every good hammer swinging meleer already has 100sp. Also I can get 200sp is around 25 pow... 200sp can also be obtained at 18-20 pow by using mana crystals... it isnt too much hmm? 400-500 can be attained by people with 26 pow using 3 big mana crystals.

Hah, for a start, spells are not incredibly strong. The only decent ones there are are flaming aura and icestorm, all the rest SUCK against players. And then, half the reason they are effective is because stuff like RoEs have negative magic resistances on them.

Caster rings don't have speed on them, at all. That means that most magicians, unless they're wearing like phoenix helm/shield or something, travel at about 1-2 speed, and have to stand still for about a full second just to cast a spell, while all the time the melee thug is chasing you down with like 5 speed, hitting you so that you can't even cast your spell at all. He's also able to wear lots of armour, whereas the spellcaster can't because it stops him from casting spells even more.

Why not give the high level spellcasters this? The high level melee-ers got their WC, and the ability to EA armour and stuff, so why shouldnt spellcasters get something too? Priests have relics, at least, if they get to high levels, but spellcasters have pretty much nothing o_o


Although, with that said, it'd be far more simple just to restore unstickme to how it was before.

Bullet swarm, magic bullet.

Flaming Aura = prayer.

Bullet swarm/storm only makes 3 rows of bullets that dont pop up immediately... magic bullet/large bullet doesn't always do high damage... they are also very slow and easily dodged... I like to call them magic beach balls.

Anyway, bullet swarm/storm has a shorter casting time then icestorm. And if you cast about 10 of them, it works I tell ya. For me it does anyway. And yeah, magic bullet is effing slow.

If I could of used Magic, while running at 5.6 speed I would of, but I couldn't of.

Best spell in the game? Missle Swarm, now shattup. Ed's proven that spell is killer sooo many times.

Magic is certaintly better if used by a smarter player, most people who are melee rely in the ability to run and swing like crazy baboons, hoping to hit you.. if your smart enough, you can duck behind things and cast missle swarm, it, going over tables in Bomb Trade, or icestorm.. just, once your hit, your dead as ****.

Anyways.. this debate really needs to stop. I think Ed knows more about magic then any of you, he's been using it more then any of you, and he's been privileged with the 30/30/30's once before (might I add he went on a ****ing rampage), and if he says melee is better, then he must know.

So.. blah. Use magic if your intelligent, players with big hammers probably won't win. Use flaming aura against people with swords, and when you have the chance, run into a field of bullets / missles. Otherwise, level up your phys.

30 seconds on unstick or die bish. ;-;

Melee is unbalanced, wtf do you expect Magic to be. Teleport spell would be like.. 25 SP (ok, let me ripoff RO for a second), and Warp Portal would be 75. There. Sheesh.

It should be made clearer that you can unstick if you wait around 2 minutes!!!!

I spoke to a newbie i had been helping this week, and she had got stuck in the mine wall and said unstick me, after her 30 seconds it told her she was not stuck, so what was she to do?? under the impression unstick me wouldnt help and after massing out with no response she ended up restarting her whole game...loosing everything she had worked hard for and the levels she worked hard for.

This could have happened more than once and something should be changed to highlight to people that they can eventually get unstuck

I have found another advantage for sorcerers(my character is a sorcerer) if you get poisoned when you are extremly low on food, (by a worm) when you die and respawn, youll be a little stronger and your food lv will go to 900
