I get stuck when i login

Well to start off, I bought this account like in early july or soemthing. Everytime i log on to 2k2 i get stuck in the old original island where you shovels and such. It tells me to bring the shovel to the guy and what not but when i do he does nothing? There is also never any staff when icheck in from time to time and I have been doing that for about 3 months. Any suggestions lol?

Do the tasks that the note in the upper-left corner of the screen tells you to do (You receive this note from the pub).

ya, i did them all but you need to make a shoevel as one of the things and seeing as i made it but it wont count it im screwed

You've got to talk to the guy's brother too.

Talk to everyone in the room, then talk to everyone in the room again, and it should say "You've completed the task."

Trust me, I have tried everything i could in that room, I left room and came back. Id drop shovel and make new one, tlaked to everyone, nothing works. I guess ill just play 2k1 forever.

I believe there is a NPC is the top left corner that you can't see, just his name.

Talk to him.

There are 3 npcs in the room, touch them, then the one who gives the tools/items
