Jeff has resigned.. But now what?

As of yesterday morning Jeff is no longer Bomy Moon's Manager. However I wouldn't consider this official and Jeff may change his mind at any time but he said himself that he resigned so I'm just going by what he said. He said the main reason why he resigned was "I am too busy to work with two Parisians who Refuse to talk to me".

Anyhow he has posted James as Interim Manager but I say we let our community vote on who the next manager will be..
I'm not sure of how it should work but I say we can either let the staff nominate people and then let everyone vote on them or we should let everyone nominate but only choose so say the 3-5 of them with the most nominations and let everyone vote on them also.

Opinions, comments?

(Btw James I have no real problem with you being manager I just think it would be fair if we let the community decide who it should be.)

At this point, it doesn't seem like 2k1 is ever coming back.

I know it seems impossible but there are more than one ways of bringing it back.. We just need a positive and motivated Staff group to work on this who can put in alot of effort to get things up. Hell summer is right around the corner, Most of us will be bored off our asses anyway so this could be like a summer project or something heh.

Also, whoever does become manager, please talk to me - As I have many suggestions that may help.

2k1 can be brought back to life...with a lot of hard work, a lot of toiling, a lot of effort, it can come back. I just hope the new manager is up to the task; again - whoever you vote for, please contact me, as I can give you some helpful pointers so history doesn't repeat itself (again).

If only this would of happend when Tseng was trying to tell Jeff to resign.

Anyways, whoever it is, listen to Tseng please. He has one of the few sensible ways to get Bomy Moon back. Other than that, I really couldn't see it.

I would even consider coming back if I was wanted, as I was fired for disagreeing with Jeff.

i know why graal2001 was fun...it was original...it was updated constantly while playing....stefan would hold big events and openings....and people would roleplay....graal2001 only died because stefan stopped updating it and the new bodies came :/

Well he's definately the one who has the best idea. You weren't even around when he first wanted to implement it.

So until someone explains a better idea or actually does something about it, that's my stance. Kthx.

All I'm saying is, I want to help out somehow; my advice has proven useful in the past, and most likely would prove useful in the future, but it is the discretion of the new management whether or not they listen to me. *shrugs*

I can at least give a broad outline of what must be fixed ;x

I know I'm just saying that to the people who were all like "OGM TSEGN FER MANAGIR" And that don't have a real reason why they want you to be manager but Kyden prove to me that he does so, yeah =x

jeff's managment was ok, it was probley for the better that he has resigned becuase he seems to be rather busy and now hopefully james can set things stright.
if james dosent bring stuff back then i suppose stefan himself should hire a new manager.
i beleave that james can do the job though :]

best is only an opinion, for all we know the ideas could go completelly wrong and dig the server into an even deeper whole x.x

Very true, and it is just my opinion of course and others have theirs. But I really don't see how GBM could go into a deeper hole than it already is.

Actually, it's not stefan's server anymore, in my book. He doesn't even visit it anymore.

Manager has to be able to do development work, as well as come up with ideas. He also has to be dedicated to the server, so I vote Tseng.

Heres how it went women and women. Kamoo hired me, I quit and gave Jeff my stuff, Stefan fired Kamoo (

), Jeff became full manager, etc....
