My CTF level is updated!

I updated the CTF level and I didn't post it in my previous thread because not many people will reply in it.

Heres the updated level. I still don't know what to do for the detail. Ideas of what else I should put? I would like ideas, rates, and comments this time.

Hehe I made my own exit door and made some better looking red team and blue teams doors to their base to.

The level is still bad. It's not your choice of tiles its your choice of tiling.

omg shutup for once! Oh it took me 34 seconds to do that. I took like 10 minutes to do somethings and some scripts.

Your problem is that yu make everything look so flat there is no dimensions to it. Right now it looks like a roo***p in a black void of nothing ness. You need either walls on all 4 sides. Or slanted like youre looking at it from an angle. I'll make some examples when I get home tonight to help you get some ideas.

Way, way, way plain...the doors to the Red/Blue team openings should be changed, it looks incorrect, my idea for a CTF starting arena would be a "T" shaped room, the bottom is where you enter from, and the sides are where you go to, I'd probably use castle interior tiling for it, it makes it seem more grand, and less flat. The sides each lead to different team areas, and you have a variety of doors to pick from (really, 2 that I can think of off the top of my head, but 1 is clearly better than the other, so I guess there is no variety )

You should've post this in your old thread...

It is better then the past one, but it's way to plain. If you only wants those two bases make the room smaller. Maybe do the CTF thing on the ground in letters, make it Capture The Flag in letters on the ground, put tiles on the ground. Also, maybe putting a flag there would be nice. Also, yes, the walls are to plain add some more dimensions, using the normal house inside walls would be better.

And Kaiser, i think Castle tiling wouldn't really make it look like a mini-game but it could be very nice, a sort of capture-the flag in a castle :o

by saying "T" I meant that each part of the T leads somewhere. The base leads to the exit/entrance, and the top each lead to seperate sides. IMO, yeah, actually, I do like the usage of Blue walls here (kinda my style to use castle walls, but I don't really like doing that, it makes my levels too similar, I'll try to cut down on it) Mylus, try to use as many variations of tiles as possible, but not so many that it makes it look ugly. Like, if you use the blue walls, and red carpet, use more red tiling for the carpets, and the wall pillars for the blue walls (god, it's been so long since I made a level, I'm forgetting the right words)

I don't recommend having doors in an indoor CTF event. People will wait on the other side of the doors to hit the person when they come out and have another person block the other door so they can't get through.

You should make it as one huge area and then detail it. Make sure there are walls, and some obstacles around the indoor area.
You could probably have a map too so that they can see where to go.

These are just some suggestions.

I don't really know the script of making it that each side gets even teams.

BTW I edited it now rate this try. Please when you give hints, ideas, suggestions, etc. please add the rate for I know how much better im getting at making the CTF level. Thank you.

How does the multiple tile suck? I just put it for red team on one side and blue on the other. And I made a line for they won't collide into each other.

It IS better, yes, but IMO, change the tiles you're using for CTF, because it blends in with the carpetting, so it's like "TF"
