Should have someone (Other than Stefan who is busy and normally doing more important things) to add RC's and look after Private PW's so Stefan doesn't get swamped with PM's saying

''Can you make this account for PW''
''Can you make these accts work with ***''

etc......

Heh, actually I guess there are several Private servers. I can think of 2 off the top of my head, and I've been on both of them. I think there may be up to 2 or 3 more??

and adding RCs is easy enough, there are at least 7 people now with level 4 Admin level, its getting the RCs to see the playerlist (which only stefan and unixmad can do)

i heard from a hacker who has been on them all that gaia is the best, he signed on Tritan when i was on and i was like WTF, he made his owner server list er somethin 0_o

Crazy. BTW Jagen, I know of at LEAST one you don't :P I've told you but you didn't mention it (thank you if you did it on purpose :P) I didn't realize there were that many! I want to get Anarchy private, we're feeding inside another server atm, but it means I only have 1 RC up and I get to work on both :P

sadly, stefan has said no more private servers, so I guess you have to settle with just having it hosted on another server, which is better than most people have

it doesnt matter,
If stefan doesnt want to start an extra process of teh gserber on his box then it wont be started, a pw doesnt go up just because the pwa says it should, in the end its all down to stefan.

How do you figuer he doesn't have anymore Private Servers to give out? x.X Host some together on the same compy... ******* is just a program, you can run multiple copies of it :P Yes, I am lucky, but then again I'm not some little n00bie guy who thinks his PW is going to be the greatest b/c I have a few people who pretend to know what's going on. Myth is one of the best LATs out there (in my opinion) and I've got some more, and I don't hire these little NATs who can't do shiz :P I myself and scripting about 90% of the things, just finished my HP system last night. It is pretty cool I think, it will detect if you heal or if you get hurt and you don't have to recode things. So it will take ANYTHING existing, and the players can still fight baddies and be hurt and be healed in bed, all the good stuff is still there. It sets the player's hearts to 1/2 of the playersfullhearts. I will probably make it give htem 10 hearts so that it can do more healing @ once, but who knwos. I may give it away if some people request it.

Thought - PW categories.

If you want to make a new PW, it can't be of an existing category - ie Worlds like Classic, RP worlds, Platformer worlds - if you have a buttload of levels and workers, great, merge with an existing world. You can EASILY have two entirely different RP worlds coexisting - one half serves the king of the east and is seeking to stop a vampire lord from rising, the other half serves the king of the west and is seeking to stop a dragon from eating the world. One half of a classic server starts on the north continent and gathers stuff there, the other half starts on the south continent. Or the dark world and the light world, you have options to which equivalent quest you take, it makes the combined world richer.

But of course, everyone wants power. Everyone wants to name their own playerworld. Losers.

I didnt say he CANT, I said he WONT put anymore up, I was on 2k1 when he put up Tritan and Gaia, and he said no more then, and angel also told me that when unix told her about putting Era up, he said they were almost out of server space

I think that if you are going to get a playerworld as private, you have to show some decent progress in a report you send into a GM every month or something..

There may be servers online that do absolutely nothing, maybe, for example, Krynn (THIS IS TOTALLY THEORETICAL) and they've been online for months with no sign of progress. They should be shut down.

Seriously... Graal2230 is in Private, when's the last time you've heard JACK CRAP about them? Tritan is in private, and they dont' seem to do much anymore... DV has gone 100% corrupt, as in I came on to script for them and they're comanager set me up and I got on, DV gets on, and banned it x.x! He isn't the best person to run a PW =/

Oh, I can answer that.
We can't connect to the server in any shape, way, or form - not with the client, or the RC. It's been like that for a long while now, and Stefan hasn't done a thing, after many, many requests.

Giving someone the power to access all of the private servers and stuff is risky... They could just as easily go on there and steal ideas or whatever.

People can access private servers using a certain trick... It's not really what I would call 1337 hacking. Just an easy trick, although it's just to get on the server as a player, no RC access... and if the pw has blocked all users that aren't staff... well you're out of luck.

Umm when I was doing Krynn pretty much by myself I was almost done when it was put as a private pw, but I just got bored switched styles got bored again ect... We had alot of stuff done. About 6 very hard very different type quest.

Well I decided I would post a pic of the water boss. Each item you get like Amulet and such will be from a certain elemental boss. With this boss you can see when he comes up from the water, you will see bubbles then you better watch out..He can make that water shot go anywhere.

I guess I will post another...Forest Boss. He runs horizontal and when he meets x postition your on he will run straight at you. What makes it hard is you can only hurt him with your sword.

That was the old stats for Krynn.

I had alot done b4 I quit it. I still have all scripts, all levels, and all graphics. So I could start it back at anytime.
