- Organize events on Graal2001 and Graal2002

Ibonic

- Do the administration of the web site and forums
- Do the administration of Graal2001 (Konidias will help to start)
- Put information’s on the Web site about Graal2001 life.
- Create a monthly newsletter

Konidias

- Do the administration of Graal2002 with Stefan and Me
- Work on Graal2002 (story line, scripts)
- Make graphics and animations for Graal2001 and Graal2002

What’s our goals ?

- Give a professional service to Gold customers
- Give Gold players events and fun in the game
- Better management of the player staff
- Make Web site, forums, newsletter a good source of information
This may be good, but because people have a thing for "hating" people with high power, they may lose player respect. Personally, I think that Ibonic should just help nemesis with all the work. I don't think that Ibonic was a good choice for 2k1, because he doesn't really play the server much and doesn't really know what is going on. Again, I say that he should be helping Nemesis with the Classic Playerworlds.

- Right now nothing will change but I have asked Ibonic and Konidias to remove corruption
- Staff players will need to use 2 accounts, 1 account to play the game (this account will not have any privilege) and 1 account to do there staff work
- Myself, Ibonic and Konidias will write a Staff rules that will need to be approved by all staff, There will be a 0 tolerance on Staff that don’t respect this rules.
Corruption is something that happens, you can't really prevent it, so them removing it completely will never happen. The rest I think is great.

Like I have announced before Classic will be managed by a council that will choose the Game Master(s) and give orientations on what will be Classic in the future.

Next versions of graal will focus on giving opportunity to more players to host levels/ player worlds (more information’s will be given soon)

Gold servers will be sometimes opened to Classic players, this will be a few hours a week and it will be a privilege, it mean a 0 tolerance will be enforced against Classic abuse/ cheaters.
As many people have said before, the council will fail in time, unless you can hire people that aren't prone to hate, and/or pick favorites.

Graal2001 will be renamed : Graal Game Park
The goal of graal2001 is to give to players:
- Real time Arcade games with Weekly events.
- Player housing
- Trading
- Pet system
- Basic role playing (kingdoms)

Graal2002 will be renamed : Graal kingdoms

The goal of Graal2002 is to give to players:
- A advanced role playing system
- A very big word based on the new Graal engine (3d word, dungeons, islands)
- A community system based on kingdoms
- A new level of quality in Graphics / sounds / music
I think those should only be temporary names because you want names that leave an impact.

- Linux
- Mac OS, OSX
- BEOS

For next year :
- Xbox
- Sony playstation2
- Palm
- Mobile phones
- GBA
I want more information about this when available... Makes me think of new things. Also, I may have a pretty good story line and a few ideas for GBA Graal...

I know, but player morale is one of the things that keeps a server alive.

unixmad doesn't know how to make decisions.

ibonic is a great choice, but konidias...there i'm just not sure. and putting them so high out of the blue is absolutely ridiculous. give a few test runs...don't just expect them to do great.

although i do have high hopes in ibonic

What i'm supprised is not releasing graal on GCN. With GBA/GCN support, that will definatally mean somthing.

I will make the best decision of this day in removing your Graal free membership, there is no reason for someone negative as you to have a free account.

If you wanted a clear answer it would have been easier to state your question without it being double-negative.

When you give global position on someone you don't make critisizm but personal attacks.

It's like saying someone is dumb or intelligente, everyone is intelligente and dumb at the same time it depend on the point of view and time.

Not that I would dare to criticize you, nor that you will care... but if you are going to rename Graal2001 to Graal Game Park, I will probably stop working there. I never wanted to work on a game park A more serious server with a fletched out system and world would be more interesting *hint hint*

Graal Game Park?

I can't even BEGIN to explain what's wrong with that name.

Other than that, the bringing kingdoms back sounds good.

And other than THAT, I would like to know what you mean by staff players having a separate account with no priviledges - I'd like to know what you define as a 'staff player', as well as a bit of explanation about why you are doing this, and how it will be implemented.

Tyhm has a spectacular aura about
Carnival sounds better than Game Park.

Antago, for those of you who are a little confused, was given an infinite upgrade back in his Bomy days. It was never removed when he quit. Unixmad just took it back. That's how I heard it.

I actually was offered the job, stay on as a manager of all Classic worlds...I got the experience, yeah, but I'm old. I gotta go get a real job, open up Classic (which hopefully can be officially renamed Graal: The Adventure) to some new ideas, new points of view. Com013 comes up with stuff I wouldn't dare try and impliment, and he pulls it off. I've become conservative from failing so often.

Carnival...would there be cabbages?

Anyway, not to sit on your decision or anything Unixmad, but I think that the existing names are just fine.

I mean, when I think game park, I think deers and buffalo being hunted for sport. Not that it bothers me. It just doesn't make an appropriate impression.

I like it all, I just feel like I'm replaced as 2001 Manager (even though I'm not...) and that all of my plans and ideas for the server are now, well...defunct. Other than that, I think all of it sounds g00d.

I like how a lot of it seems more organised, but I'm skeptical as to whether or not any staff from now on will be good choices. As in, I'm afraid favourites will be picked again, and the corruption of Graal will repeat its vicious circle. But hopefully not.

I don't know Ibonic, nor have I ever even seen him on Graal, but I guess he's a good choice. Konidias definitely is. Although I've taken my bad moods out on him in the past, I have no problem with him. If they're getting paid to do this, then congrats, guys.

I certainly hope, though, that some more older people can be chosen for important jobs. Konidias and Ibonic are a good start, but people like Kaimetsu and Alkaren (I think he's 18 or so?), and even myself, who have lots of experience playing and being Admins for Graal could probably do with a chance. :P But yeah, ignore that because I don't want to be accused of begging for a job.

Sadness for Kamuii, though. It seems Ibonic is taking over his job, in less complicated terms. And sadness for the renaming of Graal2001. Graal Game Park? ..Unix, I think you can probably do better than that. But, it's your decision. Fair enough.

roar.

You know... if you guys aren't fond of the naming.. you could always suggest a different name like Tyhm did. Something to do with competition/games/events/etc.

Heheh, 2k1 will kinda be like Mario Party - the board game, so it's like.. Graal Party?

That's funny, cause I was thinking that before ;D

2k1 should be something like: Graal: The Bomy Moon
2k2 should be something like: Graal: The Five Islands

Well like I said, 2k1 is game server, 2k2 is rpg server, the names need to relate to those so that people know what has what. Bomy Moon really doesn't scream "game funpark". Although they are nice names.

But you don't want 2k1 to sound like it's nothing but a game park. If you name it the Bomy Moon, people may be interested to see what it is about and come to learn that there are quests, games, and a whole bunch of stuff.

Yeah well Unixmad wants to lean towards making 2k1 more about events and games, thus the name change to "game park"...

Heheh how about... Graal: Playground

In that case, I think it is unfair that Unixmad decided that Graal2001 is a mini game server without talking to the staff.

it's not up to the staff. if it were, 2k1 could continue to be the way it is now: a waste of space.

Well like I said, 2k1 is game server, 2k2 is rpg server, the names need to relate to those so that people know what has what. Bomy Moon really doesn't scream "game funpark". Although they are nice names.
2k1 sucks now
i dont want to play a serve based on mini games, thats no fun

i liked the economy, but that has crashed and burned

someone should reset the server, and let it become what it once was
