Tips for ETs, from Tseng

This always happens:

New ETs are hired.

New ETs hold events more frequently than older ETs

Because of this frequency, they give away more money

They've given away the same money in a smaller time than we have in a larger time.

Then they ask/beg for money from Kae

The lesson here is: Moderation

Don't go giving away a whole LOT of money at each event, and hold a lot of events, and then expect to get more money. Give away a medium amount of money at a medium amount of events...

Try to hold 3-5 events a day perhaps, more if you feel like it, less if you can't. Give away 30-100g each event...Don't give away 500g or expensive hats, unless you're doing an event every so often so that you can afford it; I'm not saying don't give away big prizes- On the contrary, big prizes can be great! As long as you don't give away big prizes all the time.

The key is to not spend more money than you can afford to, BUT still hold enough events. After a while (a week or two tops) you'll find what you can afford, and be able to set up your events accordingly - That's how it was with me, when I was a newer ET.

And if you find you can't afford to hold events regularly, then you will have to make the better decision and tell Kae that you simply can't afford to be an ET, and turn in your resignation.

Well I'm off to hold an event, so I'll wrap up the thread about now. If I think of any more tips, I'll post 'em in here!

If you can afford it, then my feeling is go for it

Its just that a lot of the ETs go nuts giving out 200-500g prizes each time, waste all their money, then ask kae for money from the cup. Then they complain about being fired for not holding events. :-\

We should have more non-ETs like you Excalibur

(Kidding, for those of you who took my last statement seriously)
