"Murasamune Limited" is the name of my current plans for Murasamune. After going over how much I need to get done, and who I have to get it done, I realized I won't be going to far...I have completed many system NPCs, but one critical and complcated thing remains...damage. How complex I want my damage is a very new thing to graal, and it takes a ton of work. Not only the system, but integrating it into enemies. Too much work is involved...so, I am going to leave it out until we get online, and are able to test server-side enemies. This is mainly for the PW testers to know, but it is going to be added eventually (no doubt before released to everyone).
But after going over it I realize it will save alot of time...so I must do it. This also means the defense system will be much simpler, addition/subtraction stuff for now...maybe percentages. (you have defense of 5, someone attacks you with attack of 6, you get hit 1 type stuff...)
Also, for now for the PW testers, the baddies will not be near complete. They will be completely clientside, and will mimic what they will do online...it will be alot more complex in the real version though, but I won't be able to show it offline.
Oh yeah, and the menu system will still show defenses/stats for things which will not be integrated for a bit, only 3 of them actually will be in use - defense, damage, and strength. The rest will be added later, as I have said before.
Thats basicly it...a few more changes will come with these, but these are the main ones. As I said, its mainly for the PW testers to know...you guys won't really even know it happened, but I thought I should announce it. Its mainly to let everyone know I want to get working on the main stuff now. |
