I am working on a new exe, I am trying to remove
all possible problems although that thing never
happened to me. Someone said that it is fixed when
he disables the auto-mapping, it is probably a problem
with loading the level.
I have replaced the player with a big cursor,
for single levels I could also enable the scrollbar again
(by default or only when you enable the old mode?
i have seen that it can be confusing to edit new empty
levels when there is no scrollbar)

yea that sounds pretty good...and when it loads the multiple levels the big cursor appears maybe

the only thing that gets me pissed is when i accidently move the guy into a link
otherwise its great because i dont have to load x or y and i can edit connected levels if i have the connect levels script and the level editor doesent lag anywhere near the original and and *shuts up*

As for levels not saving and such, I have not had a single problem with it. It could be your computer just doesn't like you or you might need to install graal into a new folder.

I can't use my keyboard how i used to with new editor.. before when you clicked on a predefined item.. and placed it down, you could still use the arrow keys to select another object.. but now you have to reclick on the list.. and it annoys me

I'm the complete opposite of that. I find it hard and confusing to edit levels with the little guy.

I do like the new stuff, I don't miss the scrollbars (you can drag&drop your character, I like that much more), but that bug with lost levels really is there. It replaces all the tiles with some tile, and kills all the NPCs and probably also links and stuff.

It does that a lot, if you toucha link sometimes it works fine other times it kills it.

This has happened to me many times also.. a way I have found to prevent your level from getting erased is this:

If you hit play and the level shows up blank (or the level shows up blank at any time) close the Graal exe immediately and open a new one, then open the level.. usually the level is still in tact.. its when you go back into the editor from playing the empty level or whatever that it ruins it permanently..

I had this problem yesterday and I just closed and opened graal, and the levels were still there... so don't do anything but close graal after the level goes blank/full of the same tile

YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO SAVE BEFORE YOU CLICK PLAY. IT IS NOT TOO HARD TO FIGURE OUT. IT WORKS FOR OTHER PEOPLE, IT WILL WORK FOR YOU TOO. JUST CLICK SAVE, THEN PLAY. *****S.

I like the new editor, and even if the problem of the level mysteriously erasing itself occurs it isn't that bad, I've been getting used to scripting in notepad lately, and usually the only NPCs I don't have backed up because of that are so simple it takes like 5 seconds to remake all of them.
And yes I do primarily make NPCs, so I don't really know about how bad it is for level designing.
