All the 2k1 staff hate him because he didn't want you guys running around doing whatever you want like it is now.He was trying to get you guys to not come on RC and sit in away for 4+ hours at a time when you could be on duty helping, not to ignore every player who PM's you even when you COULD answer them, and he wanted you guys to stop thinking yourselves as gods (This doesn't apply to all staff on 2k1 of course)

I don't sit on my RC and go away for a long time that is, sometimes I'm eating one of the 3 meals a day and forget to put an away message. People don't seem to get mad at me for it, but they show their gratitude for me doing it.

Bah, NOT ONCE when I had RC or was Events admin did I ignore PM's. It may have taken me a while to answer them sometimes, but I answered each and Every PM.

This comes from a man who I never even see on 2001, and who has never been on RC on 2001. Yet, amazingly you sit here and tell everyone how we sit in away for 4 hours at a time, when I never even see people do such things. Funny also how players never tell me that they were ignored when I direct them to another admin for something I don't do. Oh, shall we talk about contego an his ever continuing non-existant presence on Graal 2001, except maybe once a month, and his constant away on AIM, nearly all the time I saw him on. It's funny when people who started 2001 AFTER me tell me what I do and don't do without ever noticing me..Infact I've PMed you on several occasions and you HAVE PMed me back but it bothers me you are happy to see Contego go :/

Yes, I am happy to see contego go. I have nothing against him personally, nor anyone people seem to think I dislike, but he had no leadership skills, no managment skills, and couldn't handle the power he had. Sorry, but that is how I see it.

for those of you who don't know what a "contego" is here's the general concept

I've known contego since he had Zero power. He was a recruiter for TCN but thats nothing to brag about anymore... He started a server (Shaded Legend) it launched with a great start, lots of potential and interest from players. He left and Shaded Legend slipped into the abyss that is "lazy staff syndrome". He was then offer GM by Stefan. He worked for a while as that and then recently quit. I don't yet know exactly why but i suspect, as with most good staff, that it was due to frustration from ignorant players.

Thats my input.

btw... he was awesome and you don't like him you can go jump in a lake.

He was a good GM for a little while. In the beginning, yes, he was good.

Then, he began to make mistakes. He came onto Providence RC and started ordering us around as if he owned the server. Major mistake. Ours wasn't the only server he did that on.

Then, the contego evil calmed down for a little while. No major things happened until recently. When he made a *****ic move.

Power corrupted contego horribly; he didn't want any of the friends that he had made staff being removed by others, so he pulled the ultimate...trump card, of sorts, since he was global GM.

He made it so that no one could fire ANY staff, not even a Police member on Graal 2001 could be fired, without checking in with contego, or so I understood. Which is a horrible idea and a stupid system and ultimately sealed contego's fate.

Because of things like this and public outcry, he quit.

Not event event team members could be fired. Though I am glad someone is not so blind to the truth of it all.

I didn't know him before he was a GM. What he did then really doesn't matter; when he was staff...that's what matters.

he also said "you've changed" and that "i'm not the jubei he knew". i hate it when people are like that, fact is, he hardly knew me to start with =P
