Moderation

I think it's time for some new moderators for obvious reason (not main forum):

Rumor Has It -
Obviously Fai doesn't have his account upgraded anymore. I think it would be better if that forum was just deleted.

Playerworlds -
Another obvious one, no one moderates it. Probably Crono or Psyker should moderate this one, maybe both.

Graal level editing -
Probably doesn't need one as badly as the others, but it always helps to have a moderator there.

NPC Server -
Same as Graal level editing, and Kai doesn't have his account upgraded anymore either.

NPC Scripting -
Same as above.

Bugs -
None of the people on there look like they are every moderating it, or helping out that is. We don't even have a Bugs Administrator anymore.

Administrator -
Maybe Alkaren should be an admin since he knows so much about PHP, and is on the forums regularily, not to mention intelligent?

No you can't. unixmad made it so if your upgraded account runs out you cannot use your forum account anymore. It used to be that you still could.

Not unless Unixmad recoded the vB scripts to do so. Old scripts that did that were overwritten with the upgrade.

I would be Mod for PW Forum or levels Editing. I am just suggesting if you guys need one but yea Crono and Psyker for PW Forum and I wouldnt mind level editing since thats where I usually am.

That line you hear all the time about "wanting to help" seems awfully farcical to me. Everyone wants the power, because we're all desperate, mostly, for respect. I don't try to fool people with oft repeated defences: I know why I liked being supermoderator. It helped me, it made me feel important, and it gave me options that were completely under my own discretion.
But, it's easy to not realize how aspirations to these goals causes unhappiness for everyone else. When you're fighting for respect, do you suppose others are happily cheering you on? Of course not. Everything that is a symbol of power is just another token making you better than them. And, most winners of the token aggravate the situation by flaunting their options, to drive more respect home.

But, if everyone does it, it must be accepted as natural, right? Ambition takes people places, and the most qualified usually do get where they belong, so I guess it should be tolerated. But I've seen firsthand that Alkaren does a poor job of considering others' feelings and makes a slim show of humility in his frequently requesting powers. But, what will be will be.

That's because the person who had moderator status for that forum was banned because of the infamous fake credit cards, and because of the fact that his account no longer exists, he can't access the forums or anything graal-related.
