Cars for the rich.

I dunno if this has been posted before but this is my idea in looking at it.

We have the go carts... They are ok.

One problem is all of them are one seated.

I think we should replace horses with a more modernized graal. We can have differnt Models... Some are faster than others... some look nicer than others.

It would work much like the house system.

EX. You buy a something like a Station Wagon... or Pick up truck. There are 2-4 seats in each car. There are 5 regular keys and 1 driver key and 1 owner key. If a player has a key, touches the car that person/bomy can then travel in the car. The Driver can be the owner or an assigned Driver. Only 4 people can fit in a car... unless it is a small sports car that can only hold 2 people.

Cars would open a new world up for graal. It would mean paved roads and easy transportation.

I was thinking about if the car should get Damage on Impact... but then I thought to myself... there is always some looser wanting to trash someone... So like if you bought a car for 5k gralat... you wouldn't want a looser with a 50g car blowing your car up. (Not really a 50g car... jsut an example)

Not only is it transportation... it is a form of armor... no player can harm you while in a car... (unless there is a damage on impact law(law meaning as earth like bountrys))



My other Idea
Guns and such... go along with the Human timeframe of the gun. First thing is that we find a rock... big and black... mine it and craft it into a powder.... DOnt know what it is used for... but you strike fire to it and it explodes.

Gunpowder would not only bring guns but fireworks.

But anyways The first guns take alot of resources... and a little off target. Well alot of target.
Then they can evlove into other guns... Rifles, Shotguns, Thompson Guns, then maybe SNiper Rifles... Like when you aim it a cross hair appears in which you can move it to nail some dude in the head or something.

Well wasn't The middle-ages Middle-ages until Technology came? The Med-evil theme is crashed... With Go-Carts, Trains, and other things.

The advent of gunpowder (or more accurately its introduction into widespread use in warfare) was pretty much the end of sword-to-sword combat. Martial arts and any sort of armor verses a cannonball, the cannonball always wins.

The general idea behind Graal is that it's several hundred years in the future (800 in Classic) - the world has undergone a huge disaster. Few survived. Of those few, little knowledge has been regained - the combustibles are so volatile they're only useful in bombs, etc. Only recently have the top scientists of the past been able to infuse alien technology to regain lost arts - gokarts, spaceships, etc., but these are rare, and the general populous relies on horses and swords.

I remember there was a server that had a Busy-Town, it had paved roads. Mleh. If you wanna play GTA, play GTA. While the Graal engine is flexible enough to support basically any sort of game, some things just don't fit...I'm not real big on the Zal Rifles, nor the GoKarts. I wanted them to be horses. Oh well.

Stick with what you got, if you want cars, make your own server and put them there, Graal 2001 is better off staying the way is.

But,

It only looks like a car its a horse. I would like a car with the script of a go - kart and more. Like he said it would be fun to drive them around graal. I only wish that they thak graal totaly out of the old world and into the new world. It would be better to have strerts and people owing cars... Plus some people might buy the VERY rare taxi and when other got in 'em it would slowly charge the passenger and give to the driver. Oh and about the damage thing. I think it would be good but the only way to realy have it is that if a car hits another car it would take minimal damage possable and if a car hit a object, person, or aminal it would take damage based on the speed of the car and the type of object. But thats only my 2 cents and I know many people might disagrea with me but thats ok with me .

Not all taxis have to be automobiles. A horsedrawn buggy or even a rickshaw would fit better.

And of course, a wagon would be great, or a stagecoach...basically a gokart that seats 4 and/or carries stuff....^__^
