Technically what nico said is correct. RoDD and GB are not available to all players. They are available to the one person that bought them and lets them sit in his inventory to do nothing. Those "SOCCER BOOTS" that everyone keeps crying about were already on the server. They weren't created which means no harm was actually done to the economy. They still hold the same value as they did before. 95% of the items that were given out as monthly prizes were items that were already on the server before. They were items either by garglius or items that were given to Stephen in the auctions he did. (His auctions were also garglius' items.)

As for being gold only.. not sure I agree with it, but it's not my event so it is his choice. GK is a "Gold" server and requires a gold account to do many things on the server. So his choice isn't technically wrong for making it gold only. His event and his items means his rules.

You're stating that if the proper price was not raised that RoDD or GB were offered upon generously they wouldn't be traded? I rest my case; Ring of War is not the best ring available in the game.

They WERE already on the server; owned by someone and sold properly for extremely generous overpay by Garglius; who aquired his vast wealth through spawning nearly ten thousand event coins. With you saying that Garglius' items are nearly all that was evented off gives no valid reasoning to say that a single item was "legit". He paid for every epic item he had with unreasonable overpay; seeing he could spawn any amount of EC he wanted... with this said, Nico's chestplate (3 str 3 con 3 dex 2 speed wat) seems awfully illegitimate.

I'm not saying good prizes shouldn't be given, but I'm saying the points system had many flaws; which you agreed on in the past. I believe that other tactics of getting good items should be investigated. And that the economy is extremely fragile; and giving TOP tier items every month to the same three contestants is quite ignorant.

They removed observer mode, so I don't see why trials can't participate, as paying for gold gives enough advantage anyway with levels and such. It seems way easier to just buy some items like everyone else did than pay 20 bills for 3 hours of gold use and attempt to win them. That would just be my opinion though.

Like, is it still possible to get a legitimate set of gear without USDing anymore? Since only like 5 people play and they already own the economy, people don't actually trade for diamonds or anything do they?

I vote reset.

Oh, and about the event itself I suppose...
Is there any restrictions? I suppose K.O. means something but I don't actually play so idk nothing is clear there. If I were to show up can I use a bow or what?
