Starting now means giving hope to ppl which of course will lead to more ppl playing GK.

Even though I don't see this as a prior for GK i'd rather have this than nothing at all.

i think this is a great idea! not only good for gk... but what playerworld could people make with something like that! If playerworld were easier to make... more people would make servers, which in turn equals more money for stefan!!!

GK is still Graal's flagship (not zone, lol) and should be getting "out of the way" treatment.

I really love the idea of a more advanced terrain! To be honest, I share Bells feelings about it's practical use. It'd be a great visual effect but there is no real "need" for it this. So to me it is not very likely to happen.

When thinking about it happening or not ask yourself "When was the last update of the level editor?". It seems most of their focus is on mobile Graal clients and not the PC version, and not on GK. So I guess this won't happen anytime soon

Although I'd be happy to be wrong and get to play around with a more advanced terrain soon

Yea I guess its kinda pointless to come with ideas to improve stuff as it wont happen anyways

well yea GK needs gameplay improvements aswell.
But I'm mostly interested in creating a low poly 3d server, and this idea would be a step in the right direction.

Wouldn't an actual 3D Engine be a step in the right direction (for your project) though?

I guess but then I wouldn't have an "audience" really as you got on graal, and I doubt it would be as simple as I would like it to be :P

i havent read this but a terrian 3d Editor >??
i simply say this hardly anybody can make a 2d game on graal
what makes u think u guys can get a 3d server up on graal ??

3d would be alot more time and harder and ur still doing it for free
that to me is really not worth the time

Hmm yea I was looking around for some graal like thing but with 3d and the closest thing I found was garagegames, they have both a 2d and a 3d engine that you can buy (99$ each)... but I think I'll probably just use the Warcraft 3 engine for now and make a single player game with custom graphics xD sounds much easier, I think

the 3d editor from wc3 is obviously much easier to use then the 2d editor from graal, creating the 3d models on the other hand would of course require you to learn a 3d program (the modeling part at least), but its not impossible.
