you can use 3 colors so to speak, but as many shades of each 'color' as you like.
So i guess you could say you can use 3 color ramps.

it's supposed to be a WEEKLY challenge, so I will only post myself challenges once in a week.
As the 2nd challenge, you are free to make whatever you want of this:

Name: challenge2.png Views: 365 Size: 526 Bytes

Same rules than before, except for the colours. Use as many as you want.
First one to make it what I have in mind gets a cookie =D

Okay, since there's been no challenge, I used a few minutes and made one myself.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
Difficulty: Tough

Rules:

~ The image must be a scene (a city, a beach etc).
~ You can only use 24 colors.
~ You cannot draw outside of the red lines.

And here's a image of the right size (160x128).

you seriously don't need 24 colors for that. 16 would be enough.
