The dark art known as tilelayer manipulation It's nice for that blur effect, although I've only ever used it for drunk/high effects...

With kills, does it only track guilds, or does it do player specific tracking as well? For those who are not in guilds, will they be able to participate?
like it's been said before, our tileset is not really finished, so many of the tile errors are from it not being completed yet, and the constant changing of the tileset doesn't help us easily fix those errors either

The Abyss is a group of levels for any guild registered on the server to have at it against other guilds. It's a constant war zone, so any guild at any time can come it and fight other guilds. It shows the top 5 guilds kill amount, as well as the guild you are in kill amount. Hopefully this will give guilds one more thing to do during downtime, uptime, or boredness.
These levels are decent. The cliffing could use some work, whoever is doing it is clearly not trained well in it, because there are specific tiles that should be placed in spots that are not. Get some help on what tiles go where, and it'll probably be fine.

As far as the pathing/grass edges go, it's decent, but unorganized, if not messy. Try not to really make stretches of straight tiles, and don't just make it random. It's always nice for paths to have direction, as paths are formed from people walking on it again and again, so it should be formed to the direction people are walking.

Keep up the good work, though.

Certain people really hate the way this design is, most don't. This design is the way it is supposed to be, not using the orthodox tiles in every spot, and it confuses some people.

The 1st screenshot is regular setting standing in front of the warp, the second is right after the warp starts. The third is in the middle of the warp as well. It stretches and shakes everything, not just makes the tiles blue.

The few screenshots after that are a completely new tileset for the abyss, its not anything to do with the warp, except that you use the warp to get there. I also have already explained the way the abyss work.

As much as I don't want it to happen, unfortunately Armageddon will not be in development anymore. As the owner's choice, he has decided that there is no constant help for the server, and with only 2 months left and a long way to go to classic, no one's time should be wasted anymore (and that sucks because I, like many people, have now wasted a LOT of time).

I backed up everything in case of a revival, but nothing is on the server anymore, no levels, weapons, nothing, only onlinestartlocal.nw.

Sorry to all those who put time into the server, and all those waiting for it to be classic. Again, the dev help just wasn't there as we needed. We couldn't have any lats constantly active ( and by that i mean at least 2 hrs of solid work every 3 days at the least), nor nats in the same aspect. Most would give a good weeks work at most, and be inactive for much, much longer.

Hopefully one day we can bring it back again. Until then, hopefully another good, classic server will release in the meantime for you all.

Good luck to all dev servers out there!

Wow that is really too bad, it looked like you guys were doing just fine pumping out all this content. I guess you guys burned yourselves out working at such a pace? Really surprised.

No, it's really the lack of nats and lats that we needed. Technically, we had 5, but out of all those 1 was rarely what you could call 'active' (no offense to any of you). Usually was just random pop ons, work for an hour or two, sometimes but rarely a little more, then not be on again for roughly a week. The lats, we only found 2 that could even nearly do the style Decus the owner was doing, and they were also busy a lot. Just didn't have the dev power to get to classic in 6 months. We had an awsome first 3 months, but it started dying from there.

If any nats and lats would group together and help finish in the 1.5 months we have left, I'd be glad to reupload everything, but that would take probably 2-3 active, and I mean active, nats, and probably 2-3 active lats.
