There's not much really you can do for Easter really IMO. I can't imagine egg painting would be doable on a Graal server, unless it was using predefined images which really limits your ability to make a nice unique egg. If the competition was external, the good graphic artists of the server are always going to win it so there's really no point.

Maybe a predefined egg outline, but have the ability to use pictionary type tools to paint the egg. Maybe give the players the ability to show off their eggs, via some sort of card (like bowling?).

Eh, I think that would probably be pretty laggy. UN has a "draw it" event, and when the pictures of several different people are on display it takes a while for the level to load when you're added to it. I could be wrong though.

Just found out from Dusty that it could possibly be done, pretty cool.

Using a Tdrawingpanel as a drawing canvas it's highly possible that you could create an egg decorating event using different ways to draw on it. Tdrawingpanel is serverside now, so you'll be able to save a PNG of the panel to the server and then display the image. I haven't messed with it though.

But seriously, yes we like events, as players we like EXCITING, FUN, CHALLENGING, events. Sorry but we are all basically adults now and like I said, I'm not one for chasing around a couple of bunnies at a time then waiting for them to re appear just so that i could try to win a card....

I much rather slaughter the rabbits and have them infest every public area on graal. Woo Hoo rabbit slaughter!

But I don't recall people complaining for events, i recall them complaining for everything else. I want quests back, that would make me happy, id keep my mouth shut for good then

Well, what do you like?

You don't understand the complaints then.

We would like a fair event. Not one that is heavily in favor of those who log on when nobody is online. How can an event be enjoyable when it is best played with nobody on the server?

Events done wrong are worse than no events at all. Would you rather the players kept quiet about how you can improve their happiness and enjoyment during events? From a Dev standpoint you won't get far with that kind of ideal.

Well despite the dispute over the egg hunt... it is over and a winner has been crowned. Dae wins this year's Easter egg hunt with a whopping 380 eggs collected.

For doing so Dae recieves the newly coveted egg trophy.


As well as the oh so rare Easter card.


Congrats to him.

I've also decided to give the trophy to egg hunt winners from the past few years as well. However, Dae is currently the only one with the card thus it's one of a kind.
